Anyone else have this problem with Excellion/Hot Shot?

Lately, after popping out Excellion's wings with his force chip, I have a real struggle getting one of them to lock back in. It ususally takes several minutes of pushing and fiddling, and when I manage to get it back in, it takes even longer next time.

I'm thinking about replacing him, but would rather not. Any ideas on maybe how to fix the problem? Or should I get another one?

ph34r my m4d 7r4nsph0rm3r r3p41r sk1llz!! I took apart my Excellion, the wing part, and after a little trial and error (forgot how the springs went etc.) I swapped the right and left wings, and now it works every time. w00t!!

Sounds like the same kind of problem that plagued BW TMII Megatron, only it was one part facing backwards. Think there's a database out there for this sort of thing?
