Why are you looking for a Brave Max? For only about $100 more, you can get a complete Fortress Maximus, which contains many critical accessories that Brave Maximus doesn't have.
That's a nice lot, but it's an unusual combination of newer shelf-warming items and older classics that all TF fans with cash to spend already own. As a result, the lot may close a lot cheaper than it should. Also keep in mind that shipping is going to be a killer.

But Brave Maximus was only first released in 2000, and then only in Korea and Japan. Fortress Maximus is the original that was released in the US and UK, and it has many more vital accessories.
Incidentally, why do you prefer vintage over reissues? Reissues are often perfect replicas, occasionally are slightly different, and sometimes are even slightly improved. I would take a fresh, MIB version for two thirds of the price rather than a dusty old vintage that's been in god knows how many dirty hands and mouths over the years.

I would love to just start a G1 collection over from scratch, buy a bunch of c6-7 or less figs, and restore them. I think it would be totally rewarding to get a cheap price on a cool figure, and then nurse it back to health, searching all over the world for his gun and missles and stuff.
I remember when I first started looking for accessories to fill the holes in my collection, I thought, "You can literally go searching around the globe for a little piece of plastic from the comfort of your own home. Internet Crazy."

Yeah, I like oldies too. I have a yellow Ratchet and EXTREMELY fragile and kinda broken Jetfire from childhood that I wouldn't trade for c10 figs for anything.

Odd. Approximately what years are we talking about? Grand Maximus is an Asian exclusive rerelease of Fort Max that predates Brave Max, but only Brave Max has red in his color scheme. He was definitely first released in 2000, and only in Japan and Korea.dexom wrote:well maybe it was fortress maximus, but i remember a different color scheme than white and grey. i remember blues and blacks and reds.
