I am!!!!
Anything that's not a repaint is a time to be happy.
An Alternator that's not a car is a time to rejoice!

Looks better than some of the recent ones.

It's a Scion XB, if I'm correct.

He needs just a bit more bulk on the arms (maybe a tad on the legs too) for me to be impressed right now. I want an IronHide Alternator but not if it's reminiscent of Fatimus Prime.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

As others have pointed out, it could be Skids.

Dammit - that was what popped into my head when I saw this. The head is VERY Skids-like. It would also make a nice Trailbreaker or Grapple with a different head-sculpt. Hmm... I can see the undeniable upcoming multiple repaints already...

The robot mode looks great.
Could've picked a better van, though.

So are the arms, IMO. And that's a small gun.

I think that the chest is way too big for the lower body.

Don't embarress the poor guy in the showers.
True though, even though I kinda like the 'engine as gun' thing, sometimes they come out too small. Yes, I know Hound/Swindle hid their gun in the tyre thing (should have become that silver engine-block thing from the G1 toy), but that's no excuse.
I also agree with the dodgy proportions - I thought one of the points of the Bt/Alts line was to make decent robot modes that didn't look Elephant Man-like because of poor transform designs.

Ironhide - you've been pimped.
Nice pics kingmob - but where are his front seats? And I don't like seeing his legs when the front doors are opened. Not very realistic - I guess the 'realworld detail quality' bubble has finally burst.

Just read over at TFW2005 that Alt Ironhide is actually going to be Skids, so we were right in our comparisons. Also, it looks like the old molds are going to be rereleased (again
![Rolling Eyes ](images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
) as FEMALE characters. Talk about squeezing out that last penny, eh?

WHAAAAA????
Skids, okay, cool, no problem, even though that bastard looks rightly like Ironhide.
All old molds repainted as females? RIDICULOUS!!!! Let's hope Hasbro has the foresight to know those things would bomb as Alternators. That's really, really ridiculous.

This is where the info came from originally:
http://www.zincpanic.com/article/23158.html
Not particularly in depth, I'll admit.
It does say that the females might be figures that go in the Binaltechs - at least that's the impression I got.

the repainted BTs will come with female DRIVERS (humans)

That's what I meant. But why do they need drivers at all? Bloody humans.

All I know is that one of the repaints is a Viper named Sunstreaker. For that, I'll accept the little female driver that comes with it.

I think he was laughing at his own "not any good reason enough for me" grammar.

Yeah, and I haven't even put the batteries in it yet...
So, do we like the idea of female drivers? (leaves question slightly ambiguous)
