Yeah, we want Magnus to have his own gun - not a Prime-like one, as was shown by DW G1 ongoing. Also, why the hell has he got an energo axe? Apart from the obvious toy-related reasons, of course. Although, just 'cos we've never seen him use one, doesn't mean he doesn't have one (he's Prime's bro - damn RID concept).
He really shouldn't have a Matrix either (yeah yeah - he had it for a while in the movie, but that isn't an excuse). If they're going to be so unoriginal as to just repaint MP Prime and not include the Magnus trailer section, the least they could do is trawl the history of the character to find some more Magnus-centric accessories (I can't think of any others besides his gun though).

I get the feeling that unless they release a transforming trailer section for Magnus, he may not sell as many as expected. Perhaps a trailer will appear at a later date (as with MP Prime's). Magnus, as a straight repaint, just isn't as exciting as MP Prime was. Unless you're one of those collectors with deep pockets that has to have it all. Even then, you may have to weigh up Magnus' worth before laying out the green.

I don't know. Heroes of Cybertron, Reissues, and the DW comics went over fairly poorly. Though, there were odd circumstances for all three of those failures...Autobloke wrote:Will they never learn? Don't they bother to read these forums (what a cool job THAT would be) and take notes of what the fans say? If the toymakers did that, then surely it'd translate into improved sales.
