Ah, problem solved then.inane_nobody wrote:nah, he's awesome, but wheeljack is better.
Actually I agree, but I've already got Grimlock, and Wheeljack just isn't different enough for me to warrant another purchase.
And in case anyone misunderstood my previous post - I meant hunt down the people buying the repaints - not hunt down the repaints (and buy them *shudder*).
I luvs my BT Grimlock, I think he looks tops.
Dislike transforming him intensely, though, in particular his arms. I also tend to remove his 'roof/arse-plate' when in bot mode.
Disappointing, but not crap.
Only repaint I'm getting is Shockers/Laserwave fellow. Oh, tell a lie, I may get 'Decepticharge' because I've not bothered with Overdrive. Not really a fan of that design.

If i didn't think you were entitled to your opinion surely i would ban you or delete your posts?
so really your little attempt at suggesting your somehow being persecuted for your opinion is rather basless isn't it? I was merely commenting that your post appeared to have little, if any, content of interest.
Your sarcasm could do with some work as well - assuming you have a logical target, rather than accusing someone of something they haven't done (which tends to undermine you from the start), you might want to aim for something a bit more witty or punchy, rather than something predictable and bereft of humour. Also using exclamation marks in such a fashion is, as the 'comedian' David Baddiel commented in about his only good routine ever, akin to signing your post 'Love ****'. Good luck next time though.
So, what you're actually saying is "you're not entitled to disagree with my opinion - and my opinion is that I'm entitled to disagree with your opinion."inane_nobody wrote:yeah, i'm so sorry for disagreeing with you...please forgive me, your lordship!!!! god knows, i'm not entitled to my own opinion, mein fuherer .Best First wrote:you have no idea of the reasons behind my contemplating selling them.inane_nobody wrote: you could just like give them to me. it amazes me...best transformer line since g2 and people still complain...

I never get tired of that argument... it's almost as funny as Jim Davidson.
Grrr. Argh.

Various opinions and entitlements aside, AND aside from your secret homemade mix of reasons and inspirations for selling them, you DO think BT/Alt is a pretty solid line, don't you? If you were into that kind of thing, I mean, and by that kind of thing, I mean collecting TF.Best First wrote:

And KingMob, Overdrive is a GREAT design, in terms of simplicity and efficiency. Just like Meister was an evolution of the Smokescreen mold, Overdrive is an evolution too.

The only toyline I've ever tried collecting as a set was 'new' MOTU... and that was just the original characters available through normal US/UK retail channels, which still got unwieldy at twenty-something figures.
After that experiment I've settled back into the maxim that cherry-picking is good. Smokescreen captured the initial wow factor of a design and has been used for a whole array of very similar releases, and Grimmers is a big fanboy thing. A few issues with the quality control but I like the reinvention.
The lack of thinking "oo, want" with any immediacy about other stuff (as with, say, RM Convoy) is discouraging, and the lack of stuff on shelves is ruling out impulse purchase. Windcharger is in the category of stuff I'd consider more seriously if I saw in a sale. Rather suspect Argos will be left with more Silverstreaks and Swindles, though—they certainly haven't made exciting choices with their selection of Alternators to stock.

well, kid...you're blown. especially since nothing in this thread i have said was supposed to be witty or funny. seems like you got a little to much anger towards somebody you've never even met. ever consider such stress relievers as therapy, acupunture, trepanation?Best First wrote:where do i say you can't agree with me?inane_nobody wrote:yeah, i'm so sorry for disagreeing with you...please forgive me, your lordship!!!! god knows, i'm not entitled to my own opinion, mein fuherer .Best First wrote: you have no idea of the reasons behind my contemplating selling them.

Um..yeah. That's as may be. Still don't like it though. Aesthetically being the main reason if one is needed. There is no "oo want" (to quote Denyer) feeling generated in me at all by looking at that figure, and I've checked out both the Alt and the BT. Quite the opposite in fact.Shanti418 wrote:And KingMob, Overdrive is a GREAT design, in terms of simplicity and efficiency.
Are we gonna be having 2 parallel conversations about the exact same thing with the same themes in this thread, I hope not, surely there has not been a website yet designed that can hold so much irony!

so i have too much anger because i mock your rather embaressing response to being disgreed with the rather hysterical:
"yeah, i'm so sorry for disagreeing with you...please forgive me, your lordship!!!! god knows, i'm not entitled to my own opinion, mein fuherer "
yeah, i see. I note also that the points that your sarcasm is weaker than a vegetarian and you had no original point go uncountered - concession accepted.
well argued son.
I also like your attempt to paint me as angry, good tactic! No one wil spot that - on the contrary i am filled with amusement when reading your posts. Thankyou.

Regardless, the design is STILL nifty, esp. the feet.

At least you can buy one on the Internet.
