I want help to make these customs!!

Here is what I have:

Working Diaclone Blaster
Working Diaclone Twincast
G1 Loose Blaster
G1 Loose Twincast

The customs I want to make are a working G1 Blaster and working G1 Twincast with circuitry in their back compartments so that the front doors can still be used to hold the cassettes. My idea is to work on the Diaclones - whops - Micromen (how stupid of me to say "Diaclone"!!!!!), remove the circuitry from the chests and place it in the back and use the G1 counterparts to make new chests for the Micromen. I also plan to remove the Micromen Twincast's black parts and replace them with the red ones from the G1 version. Any suggestions? Has anybody tried this yet?
