Reissue Number 20.......

the guy from whom I buy my reissues in Japan says it will be Artfire. Is this true? I haven't heard about this anywhere else yet. I would have bet it would be Blaster since Perceptor is going to be #19.

At this point, I doubt it's certain yet. I think we'll get more concrete info after Soundblaster's release.

there does not seem to have been a great deal of logical follow on in terms of who is released after who - so the Blaster guess seems a bit random to me.

Artfire would be spifftastic.

artfire is one of the ugliest recolors ever, it will end up worse then stepper, it won't sell

Never liked Arts or Steps myself, though if they bothered to spread the Targetmaster gimmick around I might change my mind. Like maybe Optimus with a triple-changing rifle-Nebulon-car. And don't forget Decepticons. Soundwave with a cassette-gun. That would r0xx0rz.

Japanese repaint of Inferno, who came with a targetmaster figure - pretty damn rare in teh West.

Has gone on ebay fro as much as $1000.

$1000 That's more than Fort Max and I think he goes at a ridiculas price too.

Basically it's Inferno with a white cab instead of a red one. There are a couple more differences, but that's the only really obvious one.

I actually posted the topic to see if anyone could confirm what he told me. He still says Artfire is next but I don't trust him that much since the day he assurred me #8 would be Hound and it turned out to be Inferno instead. He got right Astrotrain, Stepper, the Insecticons and Soundblaster though.

I suppose it's possible, Jazz and Stepper have both been re-issued, Prowl, Smokescreen and Blue/Silver/Yellow Streak (OK they're more stand alone characters than Stepper and Artfire I guess). But knowing Hasbro, this'll be cheaper than a completely new mold after all.

A pinch of salt wouldn't be a bad idea, I guess.
