Found and snagged Energon Grimlock/Swoop. Not bad individually; haven't combined them yet. Found at TRU outside Lakeside Mall; they also still had a Wingsaber, Six Shot, Alpha Q, and Alternator Windcharger. That one looks nice, but I'm actually gonna wait for the Decepticon repaint as right now my Autobot Alternators dominate 6-2 over the Decepticon Alternators.

Now, looking for the two 'Cons needed to finish "Constructicon Maximus" and the other two 'Aerialbots'.

OK, combined Grimlock and Swoop. Who's idea was this kibble-ridden festering pile of plastic? The individual TFs aren't too bad, but Lord Almighty, their gestalt sucks, and blows, and sucks some more. Glad I didn't pay nearly $40 (before shipping) to get it online.

Got the Galaxy Force opening/closing songs CD I ordered from Amazon today; also, found D-17 Autostinger and D-18 Autocrasher (Beast Wars II) loose mint for $4.95 each!!

Latest adds: GC-11 First Aid and GC-13 Autolander. First Aid is nice, a very interesting transformation; my only complaint is the force chip feature panels don't pop out far enough. Autolander is nice and small, also with an interesting transformation. Galaxy Force rules!!

Got Robot Masters RM-13 Smokesniper and RM-14 Gigant Bomb yesterday, from Action-HQ.com. Got 'em cheap, too; 12 bucks each!! The paint scheme on both is really cool.

Energon U. Magnus and Jetfire, got them really cheap from a store.

Dreadwind, loose, found him on a flea market for 1,5$.

Talon and Slicer (bot only) , traded them for a headless Inferno wreck and the rear part of the Battlefield HQ.

KO Raiden, got them for a few old hungarian Marvel TF comics.

Cobalt Sentry cassettes came today; they're nice. Speaking of cassettes, IMO the next Takara reissue should be a bunch of Decepticon cassettes. I say Ratbat, Squawktalk, Beastbox, Slugfest, and Overkill.

Yeah, like Takara's gonna listen to me.

You may have seen pix online (there's a review up at seibertron.com) of the non-transformable Masterpiece Convoy/Prime trailer that's being made by some toy company in Hong Kong. Well, got mine today, and I have to say it's pretty dang good. The wheels are the same as MP Convoy (even say 'Desert Dog' upside them), and instead of a sticker, the stripes are painted and the Autobot symbol is SCULPTED on. It's a solid plastic, too, and really detailed. Haven't had time to put my Alternators in (it's supposed to fit two), but it looks most excellent hooked up to MP Convoy. I recommend getting one if you can pick one up for less than $100.

Had to order Wideload and Bonecrusher online, since I couldn't find them ANYWHERE (and paid a bit more than I wanted), and they came today, so "Constructicon Maximus" is now complete! These Energon gestalts aren't too bad, though the lack of hands is a bit of a bummer. Wonder if Galaxy Force/Cybertron will bring us any combiner teams?

Bought opened Storm Jet and Treadshot for only 15$s.

Traded a complete Ironfist (UK exclusive Lightformer) for a noseless Rapido, Glitch and a broken Aquafend.

Plus, found a great quality Powerflash on the flea market for 0,5$... now I only need his gun and he's complete!

I buy broken stuff if I see it on the flea market.. I can get it for 0,25$ or less, and perhaps I can use the parts to make a complete one. And of course there are people who actually trade for this stuff....

BBTS is having a clearance sale, so I got Galaxy Force GD-06 Inch Up for only $15, Superlink SC-23 Hotshot Fire for $10, and BotCon Euro exclusive Rook for $5. Also got Energon Terradive and Windrazor; if I can find Storm Jet for cheap I might go ahead and get him, but probably not.

Useful for kitbashes. Spare heads, hands etc...

Got the Galaxy Force Sound Pack 1 today (got it from fantofan.jp). The CD plays, but surprisingly, so does the DVD.. well, on my computer anyway. The DVD says Region 2, so I didn't think it would play, but it's cool that it does. It's got the first ep plus a handful of Japanese commercials for GF toys. As a bonus, the Pack comes with a metallic red Cybertron Force Chip (like the one that comes with Dreadrock, only red instead of silver). It's going to Galaxy Convoy, so the Chip he came with will activate the BFG while the red one will activate the missile launchers.

I thought that Japan was Region 2 anyway. I'm certain somewhere down that way is R2. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Sorry - just checked where you were posting from (I always think in 'UK' terms when I read posts - I'm still new to the Global Community). Perhaps your DVD-ROM software is just running it 'cos it's got a multi-region settings library. Most DVD software can play most region DVDs - but it permanently sets to the current one after a set number of consecutive runs of a particular region DVD. Be careful that you don't get stuck with a Region 2 DVD-ROM setting.
Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Flame Convoy came today. Bigger than I'd expected, not an overly complex transformation, and great detail -- as good as Vector Prime. Plus, when you insert the Force Chip (a beast chip with gold rather than silver trim) there is a classic transformation sound as his extra heads pop out. Definitely badass!!

On a toy-related note, I decided to pick up an Energon Storm Jet and complete the sub-set. Up to this point, Storm Jet had been a pegwarmer, but now that I want one, there's nary to be found! @#$%&!! Ah well...

Toys R Us in Norwich now have Energon Shockblast, Scorponok, Landmine and Cliffjumper. I bought Cliffjumper 'cos I'd already imported the others.

Also, Tescos have the Energon Micromaster Construticon Combiners (or whatever they're called) £2.99 each.

Managed to scare up a Storm Jet. Not a bad TF, jet mode kinda reminds me of Firefox. Gestalt mode is OK, nothing remarkable, too bad they didn't get that connecting pin right. Well, I think that's my last Energon fig, unless I find Terrorcons for like a buck-fifty or so, in which case I'll add to the ranks...

Storm Jet is a really cool homage to G1 Silverbolt - same long jet nose, black/grey air intakes under wings, and the head look similar even. But I was angry that they made the superion horns out of rubbery plastic... And Superion is crap, the torso is OK but neither Sky Shadow nor Treadshot works as an arm. I',ll use Sledge and Blight for arms, methinks.

Got Tryannitron, Cindersaur and Skyscorcher Afterburner, plus a cute little Micromaster knockoff/remold of Dropshot.

Just found all the Energon combiner limbs (including the repaints) in Tescos for £6.99 each. That's the bigger combiners - not those Micromaster Constructicon ones I mentioned earlier.

The Aerialbots repaints are out in Hungary, but I won't buy repaints...

I got a complete Skyquake for trading, plus a Windrazor (the G2 skyscorcher) and a loose Double Punch (sadly a horn is broken off him). Plus, the head-gear of the mighty T-Rex from Dino-riders!

Also sold a loose weaponless Powermaster Prime for 20$.
