Alternator Jets?

Post by Shanti418 » Thu Dec 23, 2004 4:43 am

Just a rumor at this point, from Hasbro displaying their 2005 line to retail buyers, via Seibertron.

http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=4418

The sheer possibility makes every TFan on the globe shudder with orgasmic glee.

this would explain why none of the seekers names have been used. Also does anyone else have trouble loading prof smooths rumous page? Everytime I try, I just get a blank page.

You know, I've had that problem for the longest time. Never bothered to actually mention it to anyone that could fix it though. You can still read all of the rumors (as well as the news) in the News Forum of the site though. For the record though, it's now "The Seibertron.com Rumors Page" instead of "The Professor Smooth Rumors Page."

A female Prime?

Good idea... shame it doesn't make any sense really what with TF's being asexual and all Image

At what point did Transformers start to make sense? As long as I don't see Transfomers actually DATING one another, I don't see a big problem with there being feminine Transformers. Actually classifying them as females make less than no sense, though.

But they are classified as females :(

And wasn't Blackarachnia dating Silerbolt? And Hot-Rod/Arcee?

I mean they didn't take each other to candle-lit dinners as such but I think dating has a more subjective turn to it than that.

i know I'm going to get my head removed for this but.......
if you go by the cartoon origin female transformers make perfect sense. Transformers were originally built as humanoid servants that resembled their masters. So having female servants makes perfect sense since some of their masters were females. Also the transformers "flirting" with eachother makes sense too. They have personalities that are designed to mimic the behaviour of the organics. They see female looking people flirting with male looking people and they mimic.

IMO, when organics are involved, the "gender" thing makes at least a small bit of sense. BA was a FEMALE organic and Silverbolt was a MALE organic. Though, a few instances to the contrary, I'm as inclined to say that Silverbolt and Blackarachnia had as much a "relationship" going on as Rattrap and Dinobot...

transformers are always acting in ways that dont really make sense for robots. Its just a literary device, but it makes it more enjoyable IMO

well i remember in BM rattrap have a relationship with botanica. Rattrap's relationship with dinobot is more like a friendship.

alternator seekers...sounds really good.

Yes, yes indeed. And here they are:

The Cartoon Rules

1. Each episode must leave the characters in exactly the same position at the end as at the start- both physically and mentally.
2. Nobody must die, although random characters may be spontaneously created without explanation.
3. The lunacy of Megatron's schemes vary inversely with how many Autobots it takes to thwart them, i.e. semi-loony scheme takes most of the 'bots, a completely loony scheme only takes Bumblebee.
4. Shockwave spends indeterminate periods of time doing nothing in raygun mode. Anything else would be illogical.
5. It must never be explained why, despite outnumbering them almost 5:1, the Autobots don't just WIN the war.
6. We must save money by cutting the animation budget.
7. We use saved money to buy whiskey
8. We must save more money by cutting the scripting budget.
9. We use this money to buy a monkey.
10. We name the monkey 'Tim'.

;):D

11. We give Tim the job of scipting in Season 3.

Now we know where Primacron came from.

Aside: I wonder if Simon ever saw "Call of the primitives" before he wrote "Edge of extinction"?

13. all TF can change between autobots or decepticons when they wants and no one can known why...becuse is another error of animation ;)
14. a normal size TF can be of the size of a gestalt if he wants ...becuse is another error of animation ;)

I like the cartoon.

Course, that's mostly because I like to laugh at it. :p

'Female' tfs are a dumb idea/the cartoon rocks in an incredibly sucky fashion/Jet Alternators sounds incredibly bitchin'.
