Thought it was a bint self indulgent tbh.
Got a bit too hipstery for me, would like a bit less of the indy disco bollocks and "clever" enemies.
Also, I find Nautica pretty ******* boring.

Re: MTMTE 42
I enjoyed quite a bit about it, but I am ready for a good old-fashioned power story like Shadowplay or Remain In Light--the last few issues have felt a bit light and frothy. Enjoyed Nautica and Skids. An entire generation of slashfic just wrote itself.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

It didn't reach the high standards it has set for itself in previous issues IMO.
Enemies that feed on charisma just feels like a really wanky concept and I hated the indie disco. Even the people that love going to indie discos hate dancing at indie discos

I was genuinely afraid of being the first one to come out and say this.snarl wrote:Thought it was a bit self indulgent tbh.

Re: MTMTE 42
Im not too concerned. Is it fluffy? Yea. I mean it is a thunderclash story. Those tend to be that way.
But I like that we are seeing more of the TFs other than "Mega epic final battle of combiner DOOM"
In any case I have a feeling things are gonna get dark and epic real soon.

I think my main issue is I just think Nautica is ****, but she takes up a ******* lot of page time.
Ahhhhhh, it all feels just a little bit like JR is playing to the gallery with her.
Hopefully she dies soon

Yaaaaaawn. First average issue in a long time.
Thought the personality ticks were waaay over the top, even for MTMTE. I mean. It's a perfect example of crossing that fine line from pure genius into campy old 70's Batcomputer ridiculousness.
And after the whole Sparkeater thing, this was quite boring anyway, as it seemed very similar to that.
On a positive note....Thunderclash lives!

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
