So I was about to drop this as it's been gash, but this issue wasn't bad.
Not mtmte good but it was much better, and I like the art work.
The lost light crew were in it for a bit, maybe it's just the LL crew raising it up from utter **** that makes it seem better....
Colour me in a shade of interest again...

Nice, Rodimus refuses to interrupt the Lost Light's quest and sends some representatives in a shuttle, allowing MTMTE to continue without getting involved with the crossover. What's the odds that he picks five Autobots at random who just happen to be Hot Spot, Groove, First Aid, Blades and Streetwise?

I think it would make sense for Cyclonus to go. He'd want to be part of anything that brings glory back to Cybertron

After reading the issue...it's gonna be Cyclonus, isn't it? Will his little buddy go with him? Time will tell.

What is it with writers having Optimus after Decepticon heads? DW's Optimus saying "Bring me their heads" is where you knew the writers had no clue about the character. Similarly Bay's Prime had that head/face removal fetish.

Art was very pretty, though. I wonder why such a big deal is made of Starscream getting a new body while everyone else just kind of shows up in their CW toy forms.

So are they trying to retcon Chromia into some kind of decent character? In the intro it says

Windblade's bodyguard, Chromia, attempts to open a space-bridge to Caminus, inadvertently killing several Cybertronians.

which seems to gloss over the part where she caused a series of blackouts, then deliberately planted a bomb that killed several Cybertronians, then lied about it so that Starscream would take the blame.

I was thinking the same thing. I had to check the Wiki to make sure it was actually Chromia that I had recalled acting so traitorous. I guess if you can make the biggest backstabber in Transformers history the leader of all Cybertron even with Prime present, surely we can gloss over some minor murderous infractions.

That seems to be a common thing amongst all TF titles these days. Good is bad, bad is good. Cons helping Bots, Bots helping Cons. Dogs and cats living together (Ghostbusters circa 1980 something)
