Oddly [unofficial] Marvel Rung actually pre-dates the IDW version as he's mentioned in Eugenesis (and may well have been in TMUK stuff before that).
He's the Decepticon psychiatrist who has to deal with Galvatron. So if anything, he's far worse off than the poor sod on the Lost Light.
