No regen 96 topic...

I take this as the nod of silent approval.
Regen one has been very good. I'm liking it muchly.
There are a few things I would change if I could, but really, it is good that this has been made. Very good.
I want it continued.

Re: No regen 96 topic...
My only complaint is that Cybertron seems so empty. I know in the classic TF comics that the population of Autobots and Decepticons had been decimated, but even so, it kinda feels like the Great War has been reduced to 20 odd bots.
But this is a minor point in all honesty. The art is perfect, I can't wait for Jhiaxus to show up and get some face time, and I still get chills over how good Issue #0 was.

I really enjoyed this issue.
Rodimus suddenly seems awesome. The bit where prime defers to roddy is brilliant.
The ever fluctuating power levels of galvatron are confusing mind you.
One min he can survive being hit by giant laser, but in the next moment a bit of scaffolding drops on his head... Oh no!
Anyway, jhaxius gas arrived and things look epic.
The art work was superb, bludgeon smashed up face looked nasty.. In a good way.
Carry on...

Can't you just assume that one is more the after effects of the other?Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:

Actually, the entire galvatron bit was odd. What was galvatron doing?
A spot of base jumping?
I did like the unicorn masked transformers they were cool.

With snarlz on this, loving it and very happy it's been done.
Obviously, Simon is segwaying into the Generation 2 storyline, which I feel conflicted about. On the one hand, I thinks it's great to see the gap between G1 and G2 being filled of sorts, but on the other, I was hoping for many more storylines before we made it to this point. Guess Simon doesn't want the axe to suddenly fall like it did back with Marvel #80 where he doesn't get a chance to tell the stories he wants to tell and is forced to wrap things up abruptly. I guess I was just hoping IDW would see that sales of Regeneration have been as good as the other two and decide to make it an ongoing. I'm sure Simon would be up for it. I sure as heck know I'm up for it. With four major subplots in development now, can Simon really wrap this up by issue #100? Maybe we are headed to an ongoing. I can hope.
Guido is fantastic. Absolutely amazing. It's been said before, he's doing Wildman better than Wildman. He draws one of the sweetest Optimus' you'll come across.
My only wish. More Budiansky Blaster. Sure, he took out Soundwave, but a character with that much gusto should be in the forefront of things.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

I'm telling you... there's a series coming called Regeneration Two. Mark me.
Or not.
Or not.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Re: No regen 96 topic...
I'm with YaBum: this is a good issue, this is good times, but the whole "here's the layout, there's A, B, C, D, and E quests" just made me think, "Well geez, couldn't we have been on these quests for most of the time instead of spending time on Scorponok's Mind Control adventures?"
