Yep.

For me it's mainly a stabbing pain in my sides and then aches in my arms and shoulders.

I haven't read the preview (trying to resist spoilers) but I have this to say

[composite word including 'f*ck'] JAMES ROBERTS DO NOT KILL RATCHET.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

I think Ratchet will be OK. I hope they keep Pharma around as he's pretty compelling as a villain and it sucks if the villains keep dying...If I have one criticism of Roberts it's that he's a bit kill-happy when it would be more interesting to keep a character around.

Me neither. Or Rewind. I think the DJD are on their merry way to collect them carcasses so they can resusitate Overlord so they can.....torture him back to death. It's what they do.

i was wondering about that - given Dark Cybertron is 6 months long (i think) feels like an awful long time between introducing the DJD and when we will return to their story.

Unless they and maybe the Scavengers will turn up in Dark Cyberton, And maybe Grimmers too.

Ratchet's just amazing in this, he's such a strong character. Though it does feel odd to have classically pacifist First Aid being the one wanting to kill Pharma.

Loved the way Getaway's escape plan was something they could have done all along, and that Tailgate even suggested part of it.

And then pretty much every moment from Rodimus kicking the door down was just pure awesome. I'm really pleased we get to see a bit of what the Scavengers have been up to, for a start, plus the DJD and Cybertron! Incredible.

Yeah the final montage was absolutely brilliant.

Loooooved the Soundwave one.

Someone really needs to take that bleeding stick off Tyrest.

And so intrigued by Cyclonus.

Faaaaantastic issue.

I... really can't think of anything else to say. So far this is a lot like the "**** is irreversible" cliffhanger of the penultimate chapter of Thor: Godbomb. I have full faith that James Roberts' resolution be just as amazing as Jason Aaron's.

Oh me oh my what a day for TF comics. Not only MTMTE but a brilliant issue of ReGen to boot.

Loved Ratchet's 'get out of jail' plan. Total badass. Whirl and Cyclonus absolutely rocked too - both characters are so compelling. The overcompensating-nutjob and the too-noble-for-his-own-good-antihero. Can't wait to get the Whirl Generations toy to pair up with my Cyclonus now.

The issue made me want to re-read issue 2 when Skids first pops up and start joining the dots.

The only parts that slightly disappointed me was Pharma running off when he was suppose to be 'fixing' First Aid, and Dai Atlas's death seemed a little on the rushed side. So, so, SO keen to see Cyclonus and Whirl perform a tag team takedown on Star Saber.

Question. Are we still getting monthly MTMTE with Dark Cybertron or is it alternating between RiD and MTMTE?

Far as I can tell, Dark Cybertron is 12 parts: 2 bookends, 5 issues each of the regular series.

One thing I noticed, and this'll probably sound daft but on the last page Tyrest says he can hear them singing. And the lyrics follow the same rhythm as 'There's a hole in my bucket, dear lisa, dear lisa'.

So, with only the cold forged TF left after Tyrest threw the killswitch, what happens to, well everyone who doesnt agree with his mass genocide ? - Tyrest has achieved his plan but to what end?

LOL. Anchorman:Legend of Ron Burgandy, right? Nice.

I don't think the killswitch thing is instantaneous death. Likely, it's a slower process that can be reversed if remedied in time.

Incredible issue, with my favorite moment being Ratchet using Ambulon's carcass as a weapon. I think that's the second time we've seen something like that, the first being while Prime rode his dead colleagues carcass over some Cons.

Is there some history between Dai Atlas and Star Saber in Japanese TF continuity? Just curious if they've held a rivalry of sorts before.

Tailgate definitely gonna end up the next Ultra Magnus. Then again, that would be too obvious for Roberts, wouldn't it? Then again, maybe James doing the obvious would throw us off and, in effect, be surprising? I can't read James. And that's what makes this great.

So just to try and pull this together, Prowl is the 'boss' who sent Getaway and Skids as special ops bots to keep and eye on Tyrest after the Aequitas trials. Was there something else that Prowl found out about Tyrest on that disc at the end of LSOTW that made him want to keep tabs on Tyrest in the first place?

Can't wait for the finale of this next month!
