I've managed to not look at the TF previews for months, but I had to peek this time.

It's ******* Target 2006 all over again isn't it - AWESOME!

Mehhh... The arts better, but the writing is still bad. But what did I expect? Regeneration one is basically a continuation of the Transformers UK series, which was dry, inconsistent and stupid all at the same time. If IDW had any respect at all for their fans they would have done a G1 season 2.5 comic and let Marvel G1 stay dead + stinking.
I must say, this little statement in the comments section annoyed me quite a bit. The Marvel UK/US comic understandably had its flaws and limitations but the cartoon is far worse in every regard in which the comics had shortcomings.

wowzers.

I read this before MTMTE.

I reckon Simon got a massive kick out of writing that UM Galvatron fight, dripping with nods to T:2006 and just utterly fantastic.

Marvellous.

Last page - ******* beautifully done.

It would take a true anus tart to not enjoy this.

That was really good.

It feels like Furman didn't really have enough ideas to stretch out 20 odd issues and now that crap like the warrior gene is out of the way we are getting the good stuff

That final page was the nuts. Especially reading it on my phone so the last panel was a genuine reveal.

Love it

That close up of Magnus' face is just brilliant. The whole thing is brilliant.

That was awesome, I think this has been my fav issue so far, good pacing, multiple story threads playing out, good art work.
The tip of the hat to T2006 was good, all it needed was a tanker truck full of gas to be thrown in and wham! well I guess the war world saw to that.

So can monstructor bead Omega ? interesting unkown

I definitely won the weekly comics lottery today. Friggin gold. Guido does an excellent job. He looks like Andy just enough that you feel like you're still in Andy's work, but the dynamics are noticeably better.

Loved this issue and also read it first before MTMTE, interestingly.

As a American, I missed out on Target 2006 until much later, but I enjoyed the Magnus/Galvatron battle nonetheless. It was brutal and ruthless, and that's what I remember most from their first battle. And I think Simon's writing, especially the initial monologue from Magnus regarding Galvy was his best dialogue in the series thus far.

That War World is freakin huge though, isn't it? How the hell did Bludgeon pull that together? I thought the War World was more the size of a ship, but looks like we're pushing planet scale.

Soundwave/Blaster battle coming. Kind of strange to see Blaster go from Bob Blaster to cartoon Blaster though. Hope he sticks with Bob Blaster next issue.

Omega/Monstructor battle coming. Where have we seen that before?

Loving this series. Despite initial reservations, I think we can all be thankful IDW went ahead with this. I know many might disagree, but I'm enjoying Simon's work on this more than his initial Infitration run.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

i'd love it if Omega just blew Monstructor's 5th Toy Wave head off and took him down in one blow. Hoping Simon is using his IDW story and the suggestion they are evenly matched as a slight of hand.

Has there been a moment where Omega Supreme has just completely dominated an equally sized TF? I agree with BF, I hope Omega just snipes Monstructor's head off and gets done with it. Big guy needs a solid win.
