that Springer makes mention of "our mole within the DJD."
Has this ever been addressed? Are my memory circuits faulty? Perhaps this refers to Pharma?

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Never addressed in MTMTE #7-8, wherein we met the DJD. Holy crap. Suddenly I'm very excited to get back to that subplot.

It's dead interesting eh? One of the other things about the DJD is they all have odd, unique powers, not to mention more than one set of arms on the two biggest guys; Helex and Tesarus?
I can't remember if I read this in a thread either here or on The Archive, but someone said the DJD are linked with the Institute, so in turn are linked with Shockwave.
In Rewind's last message to Chromedome he mentions that Chromedome is a product of the 'New Institute' (or something along those lines). So if the DJD are linked to the place, I don't know if that's the old one or the new one, and further what distinguishes the two Institutes.
So yeah, all that coupled with Agent 113 means I'm just itching for Robert's to get back to the DJD. On top of that if Overlord has survived then he may have a slew of insider knowledge from his rudimentary hacking of Rewind's memories right before Chromedome blew them both up. So he could have dirt on the DJD and Shockwave...
I love that idea, I don't believe Overlord is dead at all.

i must confess to being a tad dissapointed that the DJD didn't come crashing through the wall mid-Overlord fight.
Altho i throughly enjoyed the cathersis of Max repeatedly punching him in the face.

Even with the shot of him floating, all torn up, in space in issue #16?Auntie Slag wrote:It's dead interesting eh? One of the other things about the DJD is they all have odd, unique powers, not to mention more than one set of arms on the two biggest guys; Helex and Tesarus?

Me neither.

All we saw floating in space was the same impregnable endoskeleton he was reduced to by the Wreckers.
So yeah, no chance he's dead.
And when my Generations Doubledealer arrives, and the custom Overlord head for him? Modding one hand to look like Chromedome's, with the needles firmly embedded in a severed Rewind head, extracting ALL the data.

What's the over/under on Rewind being inside Overlord somewhere? If he can hold TWO Godmasters, surely there's space enough for a memory stick.

Re: Flipped open Wreckers and noticed...
I'm assuming that Overlord, like Highbrow, Chromedome and Brainstorm in MTMTE have no Nebulan binary-bonded history of any sort? So maybe there are no compartment spaces on Overlord?
Ununtrium-infused endoskeletons can still be destroyed though, right? Perceptor shot off Overlord's hand in LSotW, the same ununtrium-infused hand that crushed Rossum's skull in MTMTE... and Black Shadow was annihilated by the DJD. So a point one percenting Ununtrium dude is super tough, but not indestructible.
I would love Rewind to be alive, completely screwed up by everything he now knows... but maybe their (Chromedome & Rewind) story is already at an end as far as Roberts is concerned, with any further details only to be told in flashback, which I think I would be happier with as it would only add poignancy to their story rather than diminish Rewind's final words should he still be ticking, cocooned by Overlord during the explosion.

Re: Flipped open Wreckers and noticed...
I'm 100% that rewind's dead, just saying that a mnemosurgeon can still happily extract memories from a corpse, as we saw with Chromedome's reading of Shock. Overlord could potentially do SO much damage with some of what he could salvage from Rewind's archives.
Of course that could be a moot point, considering how, as we saw at the end of the scavengers story, the DJD are making a beeline towards Overlord's current position, and he's not exactly going to be on top form when they show up.
As for agent 113, it's just another unresolved aspect of the DJD which will likely be touched on after MTMTE has brought it up for those who haven't read Bullets, or after Springer finally wakes up and wonders what the hell is going on in RID.
