But his RID work was head and shoulders above the, what's the word, "quality" I suppose? which we're used to from RID's art.

When I picture Simon Furman's direct ancestor, squatting in dingy furs, singing songs about the glory of the Saxon tribe, I imagine him as the very first to gather his buddies around the campfire and say "There was this dude named Beowulf..."
I loved the Magnus/ Galvatron rivalry from the original UK Marvel comics, but considering that Regeneration ignores UK continuity, Magnus didn't even exist in US continuity and that this is not the UK Galvy, but Galvatron 2, this does not quite excite me as it should. What I would want would be the final Magnus/Galvatron battle we were kinda cheated of in Time Wars, but I guess it would be too much to shoehorn UK continuity in at this point (for the same reason the return of Carnivac doesn't really excite me- either Furman's going to have to retread UK material to make him interesting, which is obviusly quite derivative, or old Carny's going to be quite uninteresting).
