Transformers Special Report on Japanese TV

There's a variety show called Shiru Shiru Mishiru in Japan. Right now, they're airing a special filmed at TakaraTomy. They showed the testing process for Transformers toys. They had the new TF Prime Optimus undergoing the stretch test, temperature test, rub test, pressure test, and, yes, the infamous Drop Test.

It was really cool seeing how that was done. I kind of had a the idea that it was done in a lab by machines. But no. A dude just uses a tape measure to see how high one meter is. Then he drops the toy from that height a few times.

They also showed a bit of the computer modeling process. As well as a few snippets from inside TakaraTomy. I'll post a clip if I can find one.
