All that time alone on Earth, Megs obviously got bored...oh god this is quickly heading into slashfic territory. But they are just like Kirk and Spock, those two.Best First wrote:Looks like, whatever the continuity Megs is dumb enough to bring SS back to life.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I must be the Yaya this time. I'm not quite won over. Simon's story is decent and moves along at a good clip, but it feels somewhat of a retread. Andy's art... man, I just am not feeling it. He does have a good sense of space. Things are less crowded than in MTMTE and RID. But the dynamics, the sense of scale, the enthusiasm of his earlier work... totally missing. It might as well be Manny Galan come back for the way it's affecting me.
Jeez, the one comic I thought I wanted more than any other in the world. Call me Judas...

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.
Awwwwwwwww. You shouldn't have.bumblemusprime wrote:I must be the Yaya this time.
Ouch!!! Manny Galan? That bad? Wow.It might as well be Manny Galan come back for the way it's affecting me.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

I'd like to go talk to 12 year old me, despondent after the cancellation of his favorite comic book... and tell him that, 20+ years later, everything would be all right.
The story was great. Loved the revelation at the end, altho' it seemed at bit almost TOO high-stakes-y, if that makes sense. In other words, it was a situation that would have never come up in the original series, for all sorts of reasons. But that's okay. PLus- BERKO~!
The art varied from great to a little wonky, particularly in the proportions and perspective dep't. Glad Baskers is along for the ride. Understandable- Wildman is trying to capture a style he used 20 years ago.
Overall- I had high expectations, and this met them, against the odds.
One more time- until the End of the Road.

For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.
Love this pic of the Lost Light crew.
