Boom.
Most importantly,by far: Yay Pipes!!
Felt the pace was slightly off with the lost light interludes this time, but only because the main story was so good.
Great stuff with First Aid.
But Ratchet, Ractchet, is the best TF character of all time and that is only continued here.
LOVE IT

Did you guys download this or pick up the comic at a store?
I've been checking the online comic store but it hasn't appeared yet - very frustrating. So frustrating I downloaded Autocracy instead, which as ever has left me underwhelmed.

I got it in the online store - once a month i refresh that bad boy until the new releases appear and then it's straight off for a ten minute toilet trip to digest the goodness. Any maybe expel some badness.
I also get paper but don't usually get that until the end of the week.
I'm happy to pay twice for this stuff.
Are you on IOS or Android? Same thing happened to you before right?

I'm on IOS. Checked last night when I got in and this morning before I left for work.
Tried deactivating the app and re-starting it (the usual IT fixes) but no luck.
And yeh this did happen before (it did appear eventually, about a week after general release!).

I reeeeally liked it, although I found the story a bit hard to follow in places - did I miss the explanation for how Ratchet got the cure or will it be explained next time?
I found the designs for Pharma, Ambulon and Ratchet a bit samey too. Probably just me being simple but I did mistake them a few times which probably hindered my understanding of it though.
Windcharger's 'Autobot' lessons and the interaction with Magnus was high-larious! I really liked that :3
Drift's expressions seems to get more adorable every issue.

I had the same problem, so opened the Comixology app and bought it. The purchases are tied across all platformsMr_Tigg wrote:I'm on IOS. Checked last night when I got in and this morning before I left for work.

That was fantastic! Can't believe I waited four days to get it. Great ending. I agree that in the beginning, the whole plot rationale got a bit hard to follow, until the reveal that Pharma was working for the DJD.
Ending was brilliant. Roberts is great at these twists.
Agree that the doctors are all a bit too similar, and that Milne's art was especially static. I'm bothered by how I crack open Thor just after MTMTE and the depth and complexity of the Marvel art leaves Milne in the dust. Where's Guido? Where's EJ? Where's Casey? Milne has his strengths and I've seen some great work from him, but he's not yet found his stride.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.
Word! Thanks for the tip!Hound wrote:I had the same problem, so opened the Comixology app and bought it. The purchases are tied across all platformsMr_Tigg wrote:I'm on IOS. Checked last night when I got in and this morning before I left for work.

I'm going to do just now.

He got the antidote from Pharma by using his facsimile (nice throwback to Infiltration!) to grab it as it tumble off the building, then likely he used it to cure the other bots as well.Karl wrote:I reeeeally liked it, although I found the story a bit hard to follow in places - did I miss the explanation for how Ratchet got the cure or will it be explained next time?
I think that was purposeful, to make them all jive with the red and white ambulance/paramedic nature of their profession.I found the designs for Pharma, Ambulon and Ratchet a bit samey too. Thought it was excellent, despite being a bit convoluted. Still a bit unclear as to what Pharma had to gain by dealing with the DJD. I mean, why not just up and vanish instead of being, well, pretty much worse than a Decepticon?
Damn straight. Ever since the Marvel days, he's been the best. He's had more clever moments of genius than Optimus and Megatron combined. Loved how Ratchet got his new hands. But Ratchet, Ractchet, is the best TF character of all time and that is only continued here
Agree, Milnes art was a bit more shoddy and rushed this time, but I don't think it really detracted from the story much.
Give it an "A". One of the best comic series out there. I finally feel like going out and saying, "Hey, general comic fan, you should be reading this" and not feel embarrassed.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
Thanks to the tip from Hound I finally got this issue over on Comixology!
Thought it was another great issue. In fact MTMTE seems to just get better and better. Loving the references to Wreckers / Infiltration.
Also hats off to Milne - I've never been a fan of his work (earlier stuff was too busy and too manga-ish), but I'm really getting into his new style now. Frankly I think he's stepped up in a big way.
My only tiny quibble - noticed transformer anatomy being referred to by human definitions, specifically 'ears' instead of 'audio receptors'. I prefer it when this is avoided to help maintain the gulf between the species (yes I realise that's incredibly anal of me).
In other news, I went to London ComicCon on Saturday and had the pleasure of meeting James Roberts - very nice chap indeed (Roche was there too, so got my Hardback Wreckers signed by both of course ).

If you assume they're speaking cybertronian, then ears makes sense as being the translation of whatever they call their audio sensory units.Mr_Tigg wrote:My only tiny quibble - noticed transformer anatomy being referred to by human definitions, specifically 'ears' instead of 'audio receptors'.
