Okay, so it's only 9 pages two days early... but if you're anything like me, you'll rush to read it.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Am I the only one who finds the constant wise-cracking from every character a tad at odds with the situation?
I kinda wish Roberts would tone it down a little.

Read it. Another solid issue, really enjoyed it.
These are the kind of one shot stories that have been missing for so long. Roberts again just knows how to craft a story and build the characters. We now have ourselves a crew of maybe 14 or 15 bots who we know, each being distinct with his own story to tell. What's really telling, and something Costa and McCarthy need to pay attention to, is that some of the these characters we've never even seen before, like Tailgate and Swerve. Yet, a mere three issues in, we feel like we know them and want to see where they'll end up. That's how you bring the readers into the story. That's how you write.
I will say, I agree about Roberts going a little overboard with the wise cracks. They're fun and all, but I think he needs to tone it down just a tad. Actually, he doesn't need to tone down the amount of wise cracks, just the number of characters that crack...wisely. Else they all start to sound alike, sound.....cookie-cutter. Well, I did say Roberts was Furman 2.0, didn't I?
Solid stuff, really. Strong "A". One of the best comics out there, for sure.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
