When IDW's "jump on the zombie bandwagon" butts into my comics and aborts the Kup subplot that was about the only interesting thing so far, I declare my hatred for Infestation.
When it's Hearts of Steel and it's mainly an excuse for Tesla fanboyism gushing, it's pretty darn fun.
Guido is in good form, if not his best. It looks a bit murky, but the steampunk TFs make me wish for more toys than Knight Morpher, and there's the forementioned fun with Tesla, blowing out all the Autobots to revive Prime. The plot wouldn't hold up to a stiff breeze, but we end on Prime versus Cthulhu.
THAT SAID...
There's not much of it! How does Prime kill Cthulhu? That fight should have taken up well over half the comic. We get a few good action shots and one great half-page spread of Prime chopping through tentacles and that's it!

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

I bought MTME, you wally. It rendered me speechless and trouser-shattered, so I thought I'd describe infestation while I was trying to find the word and a new pair.

I bought this and the previous issue.
Thought both were pretty solid myself. The ending was a tad predictable, but what more can you expect when you only have two issues to craft a complete tale?
I wouldn't mind Dixon given a 6-issue series on Hearts of Steel - it's got a lot of potential.

The voices in my head formed a side project and were more successful without me.Best First wrote:bumblemusprime wrote:I bought MTME, you wally.
