The Body in Question, yes?

Post by spiderfrommars » Sat Aug 06, 2011 11:00 am

Twenty years after it was originally released I've finally got round to reading Death's Head: The Body in Question for the first time. I'd been trying to get hold of years and eagerly snapped it up when I realised it had been reprinted in one of the two Marvel TPBs that were released a few years ago with all of DH's adventures.

It goes without saying that Senior's painted artwork is amongst the best of his career (how the guy didn't go on to become a superstar is beyond me) but who else has read this? What did you think?

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Own it. Love it.

UKers might have an easier (?) time finding it in STRIP magazine.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

This.

And for the record, getting Vol. 2 to go with my Vol. 1 is still a high priority.

The Body in Question really puts Death's Head in the worst scrape he's ever been in. It's rare you feel DH is any real mortal danger (let's gloss over the whole Death's Head II debacle)... in fact Galvatron and Unicron are the only opponents who ever really challenged him. That said, Death's Head issues 1 to 10 is some of Simon's finest ever scripting with each issue being laugh out loud funny. :)
