Ok. Lemme just get this out of the way real quick. Sunstreaker calls Hot Rod, "Rodimus." There's no reason at all that should happen. Streaker was "dead" before Swindle dubbed Hot Rod "Rodimus Prime."
I'm sure there are already tons of complains and it'll be explained away with some throw-away line in an issue or two.
Thus concludes the entirety of my complaining.
Rodimus and Wheelie reach Cybertron where they meet up with Sunstreaker, Ironhide, and (accidentally) Galvatron and his forces. The 'Bots manage to escape and head towards Earth. The preview of the next issue shows Roddy giving the Matrix back to Optimus Prime.
And thus, a LOT of dispersant storylines come together. From the Spotlights, the Ironhide mini-series, to Heart of Darkness, to the ongoing, everything seems to be falling into place. Ironically, just in time for CHAOS.
I know the last issue didn't make up for 18 lackluster ones, but if issues 19 and 20 are a good indicator of where things are headed, I'm genuinely excited!

Agree, another strong issue where things worth happening, well, happen.
I like that the pace has quickened in the plot and a good deal of signficant events are occurring in each of the last two issues. The dialogue remains strong and I think the little cliche Costa has put together, with that alien dude, two Autobots back from the dead, an insane Wheelie, and of course, "Bob" make for good fun.
Again, the art shines, and Lafuentes colors are amazing. Loved that awesome panel of Galvatron at the end.
Yeah, another "A". Maybe all we really needed was to get the hell off Earth after all.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Is that all it takes to fix bad writing? I'll remember that next time I read an awful novel: "If only they got off of earth this would be a great story!"

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Good/Depressing to see we are back to giving the best possible score to an ok story.
It was an ok story as well in fairness.

We had a very long and heated thread about yaya's ratings already.
I generally lower his rating by 2 scores for 90% of his reviews, meaning it gets something in the C bracket.
Of course, I have not read the issue...
