Everything Titan hasn't reprinted

Post by bumblemusprime » Thu Mar 31, 2011 11:39 am

The TFWiki has a decent list, but I'm fairly certain that it is incomplete:

http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Titan_Books

because they don't list "State Games," "And There Shall Come A Leader," "Another Time And Place" or other annual-only material, but I know it's not in any of the Titan collections I own.

I didn't realize that there is no reprint of "The Big Broadcast of 2006." I intend to yank it out one of these days and read it in-continuity with the Wreck-Gar story in Space Pirates.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Also, there's all the GI Joe tie-in issues--the UK Action Force crossover and the US lead-in to G2 in GI Joe 138-142.

They also haven't reprinted Combat Colin, the letters pages or that episode of Beast Machines where Blackarachnia thinks Thrust is Silverbolt.

Is that everything that was in the first few UK issues? US reprints and Man of Iron/Enemy Within?

You think she could tell the difference between a simple thrust and a silverbolt.

TFWiki wrote:Uncollected material

* G.I. Joe and the Transformers #1–4 — Marvel U.S.'s 1986 crossover. This story did not take place in the UK continuity.
* Transformers Universe #1–4 — Marvel's character profiles.
* Transformers Universe (various) — Character profiles printed as backups throughout the Marvel U.S. run.
* "Man of Iron", "The Enemy Within!", "Raiders of the Last Ark", "Decepticon Dam-Busters!", "The Wrath of Guardian!"/"The Wrath of Grimlock!", "Christmas Breaker!", "Crisis of Command!", "To a Power Unknown!" and "Ancient Relics!". It seems unlikely at this point that they will be reprinted, although a few of these were originally scheduled to be included in The Best of Simon Furman.
So far, the list of what they did not mention:

• Any of the GI Joe tie-in issues, particularly the G2 prologue that ran in GI Joe 138-142.
• Any Action Force tie-ins from the UK.
• "Another Time And Place"
• "State Games"
• "And There Shall Come A Leader!"

Others?

I should mention that this is part of my mission to read through the UK stories as Spidey is doing with the US.

And apparently you can read Ancient Relics and the associated Action Force issues here:

http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/comics/ ... index.html

Just read it. Great story. Fantastic Senior art. Reminds me of why he drew comparison to Walt Simonson. Although I am even MORE confused about which Megatron is which in the UK continuity.

More TFWiki-ing has revealed that "And There Shall Come A Leader" was reprinted by IDW! In "The Best of Optimus Prime!" Along with War Within 1 and The Flames of Boltax! FWA? So he's got several origin stories, somewhat contradictory ones, in the same TPB.

My library has the Best of OP. I am finally gonna read this story!

Obviously State Games was a text story. There were a lot of other text stories but that's the only vital in-continuity one.

There was the one off 'meanwhile on Cybertron' which filled in the 4 million year gap but I think that did get reprinted.

So will you be - more or less - recreating the whole 332 issue run complete with US stories?

Not sure if there were any others. I read the whole GI Joe series a few years back, but I can't remember any mention of TFs outside of the G2 prologue.

That was Ancient Relics. Again, nothing about TFs from outside of the direct crossover story.

The G2/Gi-Joe crossover wasn't half bad.

I'm sure Joe fans would feel differently...

No, just rereading all the UK stories. I know the US stories well. I didn't read the UK stuff until I was in college, and most of it I only read once. I'm trying to read as much of the un-reprinted stuff as I can.

I also found Another Time and Place:

http://www.ntfa.net/ntfa/comics/anothertime/index.php

There is a reprint of State Games somewhere online that has a corrupted first page. I know I've seen it, but the wiki doesn't have the link. Anyone remember?

Probably a wise move. You'll have a lot of fun. :)

The UK comic kind of petered out at the end though. Furman forgot about us. :(
