Wreckers is what the W stands for.
I'd say I gave a **** about whether the comics were good for about a month.
Now I can't be arsed. I am having a lot of fun reading Joe Abercrombie and Scott Lynch's new books. Also making my muddled way through The Satanic Verses.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

There's my wilting Cancertron thread... Hard for me to get arsed about a writing for a property that is so micromanaged, except as fanfic.

I wonder if we just dropped the Cancertron thread and really just made our own reboot/continuity how it would turn out.
Or write our own novel like Eugenesis.
I am willing to bet that it would take us ages to do, but by golly it would be RIGHT.

Whoa. You know they're going to make Panthro play bass.
This I found to be a most depressing tidbit of info from Andy on the IDW boards:
And my response:
Really not what I wanted to hear.
Unlike GI JOE, these books don't carry a mature readers label. You're not going to see anything as up-aged as COBRA, for example. I think that's been part of the knocks against Mike is that COBRA is so good (which I think it is) and TF isn't anything like that.
And my response:
And that's really just too bad. I mean, I hate hearing you say that (or reading you write that). Not because I enjoy the level of violence in COBRA, but because I appreciate the quality of writing. That title speaks to an educated audience, an audience that appreciates the subtleties that come with a different style of presentation and dialogue. And how unpredictable that story has been! Where is that in Transformers?
If G.I.Joe is permitted such "Ultimates" treatment, why isn't Transformers? Again, is it Hasbro mandate? And if so, why? If IDW can give us a COBRA for G.I.Joe, why can't they give us a DECEPTICONS for Transformers?
Really not what I wanted to hear.

How in the world do they think some older audience is buying GI Joe versus a younger audience for TFs? Both toys are aimed at the same damn age group.

Hey, say what you will, but Mike at least gave us Alpha Crazy-Ass Trion.
And he gave us Campologno!!
Where would we ever be without Campologno?!
Long live Campologno!!!!

Andy's whole response in that topic is dissapointing, not only does he seem to misconstrue what readers want from a 'mature' TF comic, he also seems to totally miss the point on humans/earth not being the problem, but the manner in which they are deployed - managing to acknlwedge the complaint but then return to 'but hey humans have to be involved' (as if that is the problem) line that the critcisms were addressed at in the first place.
