Wouldn't hold your breath, Yaya. Unless you want it outside of the comics on the IDW boards. As an aside to 42 pages of desperate self-validation and grasping at straws as to why things are happening.
Managed to read it - FP didn't have any on the racks last Wodens. Well played, FP. Well played. Still, there was a metric feckton in the old comics bit yesterday, so guess they'll sit there for a bit.
Honest though, I like a lot about this issue.
I like the mood eyes. It was so hard to remember if Prime was an Autobot as a kid, so I just looked at his eyes, because the only continuity I remember is the cartoon. Blue eyes good. Red eyes bad. Yellow eyes means Space Japanese now. And when they turn up, green means Quint or Unicron. I like simple stuff, it not make brain hurt. Although, Drift he really could have done with being the only one in the galaxy with purple eyes. To make him that much more special and one Bad Motherboarder.
I like the petty death of Carnivactuallynothim. TF's needs more Take That's! to the fans. It's not like we don't want more hi-and-dies from characters we'd prefer to see, or reminders that we're not going to see them. Does that blue face, brown helmet noggin he's standing on on page one count as Dinobot? Probably giving too much credit....
I like how IN DISGUISE! has shifted from cars with alien guns and alien places written on them and alien symbols on them to what it should be. 20 foot tall LED-eyed dudes with brown pillowcases tied to them.
I like how for everyone else Stasis Lock means total shutdown, but it's a mere mild inconvinience to Dreddlokk, like an Asbo or laserfire. They could've put him in an inhibitor claw, but that'd just be like nothing to Drift. Houdinitron taught him how to hotwire them on the Planet of The Anime Robot Space Magicians. I hope by the end of the series, Drift can use his khaos majikk like proper Deadlock. I mean, Animated Prowl is pretty much Joe Pineapples and Bulkhead is resprayed Mongrel, so maybe they could team up! Yay! And fight Lockdown. Or Cy-Kill.
I like how Tipton thinks that having an uncharacteristic thing be shown twice makes it characteristic. Because that's how that works. 'Sides, I thought having Sunny in here was just to poo-poo on that bit in his AHM - The Extended Cut bits, where he has to set him up to knock him down at the end of the story. 'Crap! I wrote 'Streaker as being competent at something! Best go back and turn that to balls too by having him wuss out to my superbaby!'
(Oh, Best First, and Sunny didn't have all the codes ever. I know that MUST be true, cos Drift says so to Ironhide in AHM. Drift wouldn't lie. But on the next page they show Hunter, so he's the dirty stinky traitor. Served him right Sideswipe killing him. It's cool to execute traitors without trial, 'speshly if you've been all preachy about not killing, yeah? That's pretty much the Autobot Code. That'll teach em for telling kids all the Autobots secret codes. Or maybe Bombshell hooked him up to wifi and haxxored stuff . Through his eye. Codes. Um, yeah. That'll do.)
Got a good chuckle out of Doomydoom's 'Who's with me?'
No-one, mate. Soz.
So yeah. Lots to like. More to like in that altered preview though. Still, schadenfraude is not as delicioyummy as actually good TF comics.
Balls indeed, Snarl. Balls indeed.
