The gorilla's called Optimus Primal.

Optimus Prime is still a truck in Beast Wars. Well, actually he's not because he hasn't become one yet, but whatever.

By the way, Autobotgirl, "Optimus" was a lion in Beast wars II. Of course, the japanese call every Autobot Leader "Convoy" even if he turns into a toaster.
