Agreed- .They even show SS flying over them when he tells it.

Funny, though - what was the point of Starscream's tatoos? I mean other then the fact they can now sell another toy of the chickengorilla. Totally blew his cover with that one.

Funny that no-one commented on the "Honey, I'm home!" scene - granted, it's propably the first (and only) time in the movie where we get some nice Con dialogue, but WTF is up with the "hatchlings"? Decepticons are now bred in Matrix-movie like eggs? And they need energon to grow? Again, WTF...

For a movie that had femmebots, giant robot testicles and robots humping a human girl's leg, they sure did not explain TF reproduction. Maybe that's a good thing, though.

I won't go into my opinion of the movie, as I find it hard to stop pointing out the hundred things that were wrong with this movie. I guess no. 1 will suffice: "That it was made".

Well I finally got to see this and wow! That was one of the worst films I have seem for a loooooong time.

It was entertaining up to the prime fight in the woods, which was the best bit in the entire film (genuinely thrilling to watch), but damn! from that point on it sunk faster than the hood after a barage from the bismark.

In the first film we had a surplus of annoying human characters that were loud, irritating and not funny. People complained about it, so what do they do for the sequel? replace all the annoying humans with annoying tfs. How much screen time was wasted on wheelie/the twins/Jetfire talking absolute crap and not being remotely funny???

That and the amount of completely irrelevant transformers who had little to no reason for being in the film and again, wasted screen time - the 'doc'? pointless and disappeared without explanation once his use of a plot device had expired. The 'pretender' again totally pointless except to initiate a relatively generic action sequence and place some tension on the mikela/sam dynamic, AND there was zero explanation as to how/why she was stalking sam.

None of the new cooler looking TFs received any decent dialogue, and those that were established in the first film received no extra characterisation or screen time. Begs the question as to why they were included in the first place.

Also too many generic decepticons and Devastator being utterly pointless reminded me more of an episode of the sunbow cartoon than a big blockbuster that zillions of pounds were spent on.

Ugh, so much wrong with the movie - I hope they don't make another, or Bay leaves the series. The man has raped my inner child so badly it would make Jacko turn in his grave.

Finally saw this.

After all thr reviews and commentary was expecting to hate it.

And there are about a bajillion things wrong with it.

But that didn't stop me from grinning broadly for the duration.

I guess i see this as the new cartoon - intellectually inferior to the comics in every way but fun to watch from time to time.

And yes, forest fight worth the admission price alone.

I also have to confess that i genuinley laughed out loud when Jetfire walked into a door and said "bollocks". I'll be watching ITV comedies and buying the Sun next...

Also finally got around to watching this.

I can think of worse ways to spend 150 mins.

:)

[Edit]Having slept on it:

It was interesting that Bay decided to use the same location for this film's 'holy grail' as Lucas/Spielberg did for Last Crusade. Influenced by having an actor who played a Henry Jones Jr. on the cast, perhaps?

Didn't get who was meant to be saying "I'm the best! I'm the best!" when Yellow Team were driving through a series of explosions, but all that was on screen was a big cloud of dust. Was Sam saying it, in regards to his driving? Was Bay doing a voice over, in regards to his film making?
