Thread title reminded me of this, however:

It's, like, the point.

Sorry if you've never struck me as the TVtropes type.

Their page on Warhammer 40,000 is probably the greatest web-page I've read, like, ever: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... ammer40000

It's enough to make me want to start playing again :(

I think the Tropes page nailed it with:
The question that has haunted my being has been answered: The future is not fixed. My choices are my own. And yet, how ironic, for I now find I have no choice at all. I am a warrior. Let the battle be joined.
Scratch that, just give me Beast Wars Season 2 in its entirety. From the faux-western bits of Coming of the Fuzors through Bad Spark, Transmutate and Code of Hero to the jaw-droppingly awesome G1 fanboy Agenda, coupled with real character development, story arcs, genuinely touching moments and punch-the-air action, this series is the ne plus ultra of Transformers for me. It's where the brand jumped the Cybershark.

Though having said that, I am enjoying Animated enormously as well.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Well you have always struck me as the type to follow the link in a thread before posting.

The point is to, well, discuss your own personal favourite moments. As in discuss and justify, not just link to a Wiki'd list.

Apparently Cliffy was pointed towards TVtropes by some dude called Halfshell. Sounds like you should listen to him, Brend...

And the problem with that is, it's impossible to pick one that hasn't already been mentioned, and actually doing so will get you shouted down by the general populace, regardless of justification. For me, the big 3-on-1 against Brawl in the Movie was what did it for me, so much that 'I'll drive you shoot' didn't spoil it at all, but nobody cares because the Landing of the Autobots had the kind of impact that warrants the capitalisation. Also they got one-upped by Josh Duhamel taking out Blackout later on.

Would now be a good time to mention that, due to every possible permutation of every possible discussion having been played out, this board, and indeed all forms of discussion everywhere, will, presently and abruptly, cease to function except in an archival format?

Sorry? The Universe does accommodate for the redundancy of discussion? Oh. Well, Carry on!

The greatest moment in transformers history was clearly me signing up to Transfans.

Now, see, Besty signing up to Transfans may have been the greatest moment in TF history, but it was hardly a crowning moment of awesome in TF history.

Unlike a certain couple of weeks in December 2008. ;)
