Rubbish.
I keep rereading this - it gets better every time (sorry)
Which is the polar opposite of AHM.
Oh noes! I mentioned one comic in a topic about another comic and done gone and compared them! How long before the sky hits my tender head?

MD is the only thing lately that I'm looking forward to...
That, and the 13. Any word on that? As I heard (in recent Bay interviews) that the Fallen will be a member of the original 13 in the movies as well, I hope it's still gonna happen. Written by Simon, of course.

Recently got a hold of this myself.
Good stuff, lots of giant robots fighting. Also nice to see that Furman is going with a rather classic kind of nasty Scorponok. Drunk with his own physical power, sadistic to those smaller and weaker than himself.
Don't really have anything bad to say here, except maybe that I'm still a bit dubious about the final panel. Shockers has just been so misused as a "mastermind", you know?
I'll certainly pick up next issue, since there is still great, great promise for the next parts.
How did you tell the bots Grimlock sent for are the Monsterbots btw? Personally I thought it was the Predacons myself, since the one closest to the viewer is red and yellow. (Repugnus, then?) I guess the fact that there's three of them is a good clue tho.

I can't believe they're apparently putting out so few copies of what could be their most successful series given what I've seen of how my local store tends to get a massive stack of copies and sell out within about a day.
Good thing I hve it on order. But it had better not go down the WW:Age of wrath route.

They're severley testing the patience of a lot of good fans.
Does anybody else feel like they're reaching a point where it feels like they're having a joke, rubbing our noses in it?
I can't believe how specatacularly different (in a bad way) I feel about the company, and in such a short space of time to boot.

Diamond treat smaller customers like ****.
And fans running official boards is a situation that works until things start to get antagonistic, at which point it's a PR liability. Having employees represent a company in the same manner, even more so. They'd probably be better off without forums by this point, although other companies who've taken similar measures haven't come off well from the experience.
I think a best case scenario would be a locked "IDW updates" sticky into which people can periodically add stuff, even if it's just "concern acknowledged, updates if and when we have them".
Struggling to remember the times when things were, TBH.Best First wrote:the PR side of it's not been handled well tho.

Finally got a hold of this.
Found it to be boring and predictable.
Who couldn't see Grimlock trying to talk the Dinobots out of their mind control problems after all of them going at it?
Haven't been too pleased with the coloring this series. Very monotone. Doesn't do Nick's work justice. Some panels just seemed to be a mishmash of metal parts.
The saving grace was that last panel of Shockers. Bout time.
Give it a "C". Predictable.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

That's just it... Grimmy did not talk them out of Mind Control. Scorponok simply released the dampeners a bit to torment Grimmy... The dinobots are pretty much still under his control.

I said "trying" to talk them out of it.BB Shockwave wrote:That's just it... Grimmy did not talk them out of Mind Control. Scorponok simply released the dampeners a bit to torment Grimmy... The dinobots are pretty much still under his control.
