Just read it....agree the the general tone of eveyone else.
The one thing that really annoyed me was the Decepticons refering to themselves or their colleagues with the terms "Seeker" and, cringingly, "Soundwave's cassesttes".
To me, these are just terms that fans use to refer to these groups. It just doesn't work that TFs would use them. If the 'Seeker' identity was so solid, we would have already heard about it.
So, Ravage, Ratbat, Frenzy & Co have just been reformated. Why would they suddnely be refered to by their alt-mode? An alt mode that would really mean nothing to other Decepticons, at that. Soundwaves team may have been better, if even that is neccessary.
At least when Simon introduced the 'Headmaster' and 'Gestalt' terms, it was genuinly their first use in this continuity. Where similar terms would have been stupid or useless, he has left them alone (eg Pretenders).
And, we have already seen the other seekers in different infiltration units, haven't we? Why didn't they resemble their commander?
Bombshell was the best thing in the issue. In a different place, I'd have really enjoyed him, but, as it contradicts previous continuity, I'm having trouble with that, too.
So to summarise; fanwank terminologly, used without knowledge, care or regard, all wrapped up in no-plot, and delivered with ignornance of the previous continuity. Nice.
