Amusing as it looks to the outside world, I think contacting the police was absolutely the best course of action. If it all gets resolved fairly quickly and turns out to be a storm in a teacup, that's far better than it leading to this.

General comic fan. I actually don't like TF comics, but then again, I don't remember the last time I've read one. If Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman or Geoff Johns writes a TF mini, you can count me in.

Try out a TF comic sometime. They're goofy but fun. Best reading order for the IDW trades goes 1. Infiltration 2. Stormbringer 3. Spotlight Volume One.

Sorry to hear about what happened, sprunk. If it's any consolation, I've had to bite my tongue (or at least sit on my hands to prevent from replying) several times with this guy, though obviously now I'm glad I did else he might have been calling me at four in the morning trying to show me his puppies.

Sprunkner, you'll love this one.

First an intro: on the IDW boards, Skwege has a lackey: Dogbite12. Whenever Skwege posts something that is possibly confrontational (IE quite often) a post by Dogbite12 backing him up will appear, ALWAYS, within 5 minutes of Skwege's post.

What are the odds of that?

I've said many times that I believe they are the same person, a mod has never commented on that, even to shoot me down. Dogbite12 always talks about her brother who likes TF, that must be Skwege:-other possibility.

Anyway, here's Dogbite12's post to a board about the Skwege/Sprunkner incident. Note that she of course, makes it sound like Skwege is the hero. I find it strange that she knows the EXACT wording of every message Skwege left. That's rather....unusual, don't you think?

Anyway, read it, and then read the comments.

Absolutely hilarious. Dozens of people there read through the ********, and well...read it for yourself.

So basically if they are siblings then obviously making a complete fool of yourself runs in the family.

If they're the same person, then...that's kinda sad having an alt.ID just to back up your own arguments.

It's good to see that everyone else has the common sense to see that Skwege was very much in the wrong, and that being a psycho stalker type isn't widely accepted amongst normal people.

I always find it...pathetic...how whenever a mod/staff member/someone with the authority to ban them shows up over on the IDW boards they both turn into complete suck ups.

The most retarded thing about this entire incident is that it wasn't actually Sprunker who called Skwege names, he just happened to a) quote the person who did insult Skwege, b) be the closest person living to Skwege from this forum. To me that points to the fact that Skwege isn't actually interested in getting 'justice', he just looks for the easiest target, then begins the whole bullying thing that he is so effortlessly good at.

Unlikely alt-ID. Possible family, but don't underestimate how attached to a random stranger someone with time on their hands can get -- think about it, most people these days follow blogs or websites by people they've never met.

Eric's been around in Transformers fandom for about ten years at least. Some guy he allegedly ripped off on ATT posted his then contact details.

Yeah, I think it likely that Skwege and Dogbite just confer closely about everything because no one else is on their side. When Skwege posts, he maybe messages her to tell him he's done it, and since she obviously spends far too much time on the Internet, she's there like a shot.

In any case, they are a bit different. Skwege is just impotently angry at everyone who disagrees with him, which leads to him frequently and amusingly lambasting people for doing the very thing which he himself is doing, or did a moment ago, ie. whining about people whining, swearing at people for swearing.

Dogbite, on the other hand, is more self-conscious, and seemingly determined to prove she isn't a 'fanwanker', whatever the [composite word including 'f*ck'] that is. Her Livejournal is called something like 'I am a fangirl who is not - repeat not - a fanwanker'. And just as you get the stereotypical butch lad who is so anxious to prove they aren't gay that they go round shouting, "Queer!" at everyone who reads a book or wears a silly hat, Dogbite's way of proving to the world that she isn't a fanwanker is to affect a sharp-tongued intolerance of anyone she thinks she can get away with calling a fanwanker.

Hence her post on that board, trying to 'get in' with the cool kids. Unfortunately, it also demonstrates her incompetence - she's not anywhere near as sharp-tongued as she thinks she is, she targets the wrong people and manages to become best buds with someone who pretty much everyone agrees is a bit of a wanker.

You think you got it bad? Derby lost 2-0 to QPR and are now two points above the relegation zone. Much as I'd love us to beat Man Utd at old trafford as well, our league form is woeful and we don't need the cup destraction right now.

Details of voicemail. Of course, whilst it's curious someone should claim to have access to a message verbatim, the dialogue is basically in keeping with posting style here and elsewhere, so make of that what you will. The inclusion of 'FOUL' in caps, in particular, suggests forwarding of text.

Toss up between the woman being a psychotic liar or having been sent that message.
