Ah, I see. Didn't imagine there'd be much change but wondered if they'd permitted you some 'artistic license', as it were.

Fingers crossed you'll get to do some more official TF designs in the future.

I did get to design a minor character.
I won't get into any specific until the book is out, but I did put in some "artistic license".

This is a bitter sweet moment for me. EJ is my fave tf artist so it really is great to see him back on the interiors. It's been way too long since devastation #6.

However I'm really not enjoying AHM at all, and I foresee plotwise the next few issues being more of the same.

On a side note, what with a toy of drift being made, hopefully it'll open the door for hasbro to make some EJ IDW design toys. I think I would buy every single one if that were to happen.

The people in charge of marketing at Hasbro probably wouldn't go for it, judging on some of the poor decisions they've made in the past though -

TF Fan - "Are you going to release a classics thundercracker?"
Hasbro Marketing guru - "No, we don't want too many repaints of the same toy."

6 months later, acid storm is release...I mean wtf?!?!?

So long in fact that he found time to draw parts 1 and 4 of Revelation in the interim. ;)

Can't believe I forgot about them. I must be going soft in the head. *slaps forehead in a spazzy manner*

Like the offspring of a sharkticon and one of those critters living under cybertron in the G1 Marvel continuity.

I have doubt that's ever going to happen. Considering how many different car licenses they have to pursue and nail down to make that happen...

What's wrong with what they did in the old days, using alt modes that are 'homages' to particular cars? Failing that, your designs could work with slightly altered car modes.

what is Kup?

seriously tho, do they have to get rights to make a tf that 'looks' like a lamborghini? - how did they do it back in the G1 days? did they pay all the car companies a fee?
