3D Spotlight?

Post by Shanti418 » Tue Nov 18, 2008 6:30 pm

Hey, my LCS is expecting a title called "Transformers Spotlight: Optimus Prime 3D" this week for $5.99.

Anyone know anything about this? Is this a reprint of the earlier OP spotlight, or something different? I couldn't find anything on the IDW website.

It's a reprint of the Optimus Prime Spotlight from earlier this year (or was it last year?). In 3D obviously... comes with 3D glasses too.

Am tempted to pick it up - wasnt a bad spotlight - art was good. If the 3D effect is right, could be a gem..

I recently tried 3D Comic Books thanks to Final Crisis Superman Beyond, but even more than that, I'm not going to buy it on the principle of "I'm not going to pay 6 bucks for something I already have just because you made the pictures blurry."

Fair enough I guess... I'll pick it up purely because I've never seen a 3D comic before (I'm not a huge collector of comics).

Having now bought this... save your money. It's okay, but the novelty wears off after a couple of pages.

I didn't get it at my LCS. I like 3-D--reminds me of those bad old Blackthorne comics that never finished their storyline (that I probably promised some of you pdfs of, sorry)
