Marvel G2 comic scans
Post
by Destron » Sat Nov 15, 2008 4:31 pm
Hi,
for a long time I've been trying to find good quality G2 scans on the Internet. Unfortunately the only ones I've managed to track down up to now were poorly made and sometimes even hardly readable stuff (3MB per issue? Gimme a break!). Considering how much we all love G2 and Yaniger's art (don't we?), it's a shame really.
Could somebody please point me where to look for those scans? Or, if it is the case that there aren't any better versions available, can someone who is in possession of the printed comics copy it, for the sake of the fandom?

And what, exactly, is wrong with asking for scans of a comic book that hasn't been printed since '93?

The Marvel G2 run has been available as trade paperbacks for several years.

Called Dark Designs and A Rage in Heaven.
Now if you wanted scans of the tie-in GI-Joe issues, then we could talk hard-to-find (though they may have been reprinted as well).

I've only got the G2 tie-in issues, I think 138-142. But I thought someone was reprinting the Marvel stuff somewhere.

They were done in the early-to-mid-90s, when there was a dearth of official product and us kids were quite glad of anything Transformers Brendan, Ryan and Roger stuck up online.

While I have the TPBs of the US G2 series, I *DO* also have scans of the first two UK G2 issues, which was quite different, abandoning the crossover altogether. I don't suppose these will EVER be reprinted (Or at least, the chances of it happening are on a par with us seeing the final issues of WW:AoW) so if anyone wants I could share them.
