With the autobots leaderless, plus somehow pretty much all dead, (dont worry, this might even be hinted at how one day in the future) Starscream, Megatron's best EVER friend, has been given free reign to throw his big buddy the 'Tron the best ******* stag party ever! ON EARTH! A ******* STUPID VERSION OF EARTH!

I dont think it's cricket to turn up just to start pissing on there front door either to be honest.
It's all well and good having a rant here where everybody can here the general "Jack Dee" tone in my voice.
But I don't think a lot of the little lambs there would understand.
I just had to vent at what I find to be an amazingly misguided change in direction.
I think Transfans just have to concede that we're only human, (although I'm certain some of the fandom would like to be made of metal & have kiddy fiddling race car alt mode) and therefor its evens that we're going to have a lot of mental ***** amongst us.
I just hoped for my sake that the people in charge of producing the product wouldn't target them. I don't know.
I suppose if the number of braindead, easily pleased cretins outnumbers the amount of people like the majority of the guys round here, who can debate something on its merits and have in general something sensible to say (and don't bother signing up from some other board to write in and say "thats arrogant" ... cause I dont care) then it makes sense for IDW to pitch to them I suppose.
Shame for me but not for them.
Sadly chaps, I'm pretty sure the TF fandom is rife with idiots and that its got to the point where the sensible lot simply can't be arsed to even acknowledge them. Look at the AHM thread on IDW. largely praise, cause everybody else was so disgusted they dropped it and won't go near it.

It all comes down to whether you want to make something that you're proud of, or something that sells well.
And I dont see how you can ditch the Furman story to make AHM and think "we've made a sound creative decision here"
Of course, the creators are welcome to disagree.
For me, since my apathy for football combusted spectacularly with post Harry mental spurs, I need something to feel apathy for so that I can actually have a life. So, at the moment TFs can be that. Really can't be ****** with the TF comic at all now. Can't be bothered to engage the simpletons that argue in favour of a piss poor comic, esp when it's so easy and so much more fun to mock, and point, and laugh.
I mean, what can I do to change it?
Without a bundle of cash that is.
