Was checking out the Mosaics on IDW and thought this one was really cool:
Which I thought was quite reminiscent of Wildman and Sullivan in their UK pomp, and plus I really, really liked the TF comic around the introduction of the Head Masters stage.
So I checked out the artist's deviant page, which was groovy, and found in his faves this little nod to the Earthforce arc, which was mint - this is quite frankly a)clever and b) a little bit lush:
Same bloke that did the Bludgeon / Carnivac one also did this, which makes me purr...

Heh heh heh. Good ol' Blu--Silverstreak.
Some fine artists are coming to their right with these Mosaics tho, we might actually be seeing more of them in a few years, methinks.
In that painted one, is the big red guy Scattershot of the Technobots? He was always a bad mutha'. Thought it was Blaster first of course tho.

Love that Bludgeon/Carnivac pic... And the Headmasters too. Didn't this guy used to have a website? I seem to recall he even did a few TF entries for the MTMTE books.
The Mozaic, though, is (s)crap story-wise. I mean, Pointblank says he's going to let the Con live, and Misfire goes like "NOOO! You can't!" - He's a bad aim, not a mentally retarded suicidal maniac! Geez. Reason I awoid most Mosaics... seems like 10-year olds are writing scripts for beautifully drawn pages.
The Bluescreen... erm Silver... whatever one is ACE, though.

Lovely art in all the samples. Kinda makes me feel nostalgic.snarl wrote:Was checking out the Mosaics on IDW and thought this one was really cool:
Anyone know if Earthforce has had - or will get - any coloured reprints?

Only coloured reprint of any of the Earthforce stuff I've ever seen was the Carnivac/Mayhems arc which was reprinted in one of the annuals at the time.
I doubt there'll be any coloured UK releases, as all the old Marvel UK stuff that was B&W seems to be being reprinted in B&W (Earthforce, DWM, etc.), although saying that, IDW have reprinted some DWM in colour for the US audiences, so who knows.
