I thought this was better than the last 2 issues.
It still wasn't great.

I gave in and read these and given that my expectations were so low, they weren't as bad as I thought.
But I'm still pissed that they crowded out Revelation for this.

one thing that is interesting is that there seems to be less dissent at IDW now but i get the impression that that is just because all those who aren't keen have just given up and left the cheer leading squad to it rather than a real improvement in the book.

Hmm...
Maybe, but I remember glossing over the threads for ish 1 and 2 and seeing it get canned,
And wasn't there a massive thread called something like "ok, who elses is dropping AHM?"
There are few things I find more annoying then people moaning / whining about people making constructive criticism. Maybe a lot of the people that tried to discuss the book's shortcomings feel the same. Cause that was my impression of how most of the discussions on IDW Re: AHM went.
(mostly) Reasonable comments avoided by some C-unit saying "stop whining"
That board is now far too happy clappy now, with a worrying seasoning of robo-paedophilia.

That would involve avoiding all posts by Moderators, who quite happily practice double standards about flaming, and then dig at anyone that posts any kind of complaint. The rule of thumb being - post whatever you want as long as its positive.
I've even seen mods ask people to remember that these comics are what the creators do for a living and not to be too harsh. I seem to have slipped into some ****** up world where people are getting paid to write ***** and are also immune to any kind of negative reaction, lest feelings are hurt.
It's like a hippy commune over on those boards, minus the drugs... which would at least dull the pain.

I know. I said that this "is the kind of f*ckery Marvel would pull" and one of the moderators went on about how he wanted to ban me.
Wankers.
