Okay, so I know that prices can sometimes become a little over-inflated in the world of transformer collecting, not to mention comic collecting, but is this really the going rate for this?

Bloody hell.

How much do the original comics (both sets of covers) go for?

Separately on eBay?

It may be time to cash in Dreamwave.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I noticed that the TPB or War Within Vol 2 hovers between 50-80 pounds on Amazon too. Thats slightly more understandable than the price of G1 Vol 2, which lets face it, isn't that great anyway, but still - I didn't think these things were rare.

The comics - well you can't give the DW Armada ones away - infact Reed comics still have most of them at 99p a pop online. And you can still pick up a couple of issues of the DW G1 stuff at the same price.

Well - according to this MTMTE Book one is work 230-odd quid.

Let me unplug my common sense for 30 seconds and assume that there are some people stupid enough to pay these prices... this means that I'm sitting on about 3000 pounds worth of dreamwave trade paperback at home.

And for my grand finale...

91 pound for a pocketbook edition anyone?

This makes my brain hurt...

Weird. You can pick up the original issues for about £1.50 each on ebay. But there are very few (if any) TPB on there, so I wonder if that is what is driving the price.
