No, but I'm eager to see him try. :o

It'll probably be like Esc and Dev, where we get like two pages of each ongoing plot strand, but threaded around a char-centric story that's resolved within the issue.

Me can't wait.

Aha, that's what I was going to post last night, a SPOTLIGHT: SIDESWIPE HYPE THREAD!!!!

Because not only do we get the juicy goodness that Simon posted on his blog, but news is filtering in from the IDW boards that it's going to be drawn *and* coloured by EJ Su!

*geeks out*
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

a) classic tried-and-tested Transformers comic writer doing some of the best work of his career, with fans drooling in anticipation - 4 issues
b) untested Transformers writer comes up with "let's hit the reset button and introduce a bunch of 'toon-inspired ideas", has fans going "meh, I'll try the first issue but I'm not sure I like the look of this at all" - 12 issues

Ryall, where's the justice?
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

There IS NO justice.

It's purely criminal. 'nuff said.

I want my fix. I don't care if it's Dyno Dino Deno Bots, Revelation or All Hail McCarthy. I want a comic. It's been like three damn weeks just since Reign of Stupid Movie Continuity.

Well, solicits tell us the following:

June: Wheelie, Cyclonus (Rev 1)
July: Hardhead (Rev 2), AHM 1 (I saw somewhere this is due the 30th)
Aug: Doubledealer (Rev 3), AHM 2

From that, we can guess that Sideswipe (Rev 4) and AHM 3 are slated for September.

Denton Tipton apparently implied that Maximum Dinobots might start in October.

Beyond that, it's guesswork. Well, also given the fact that IDW seem to regard release schedules as a vague guideline that don't mean anything...

yeah, i basically work on the assumption it will all be late these days - which means i am currently assuming little or nothing until end of June based on the above.

humbug.

I wasn't expecting Devastation TPB until June, but it arrived last week, so not everything falls behind.

Or maybe they use the same equipment for both their comics and the reprints and that's what's slowing it down...

works well for me, im currently reading all the comics in one go, after finaly getting round to opening my post... im busy and all.

so hopefully ill be up to speed by the time these new releases come out.

Im so behind i only just read/saw/seen SS get blown apart.

yet i couldnt understand why even souped, and clearely capable of pushing megatron about, he still lost. power fluctuation differences...anyhows still good fun, ratchet is cool.

Its odd, i know furmen pens them and all but they still dont feel like G1, not sure why, they seem to have less detail in them perhaps, i dunno, its hard to explain... nostalgia perhaps.

So what's the deal with All Hail Megatron? Is it in continuity with Furman's Infiltration/devestation/revelation arc?

They said it was at Botcon, but I doubt Shane McCarthy has ever read an I/E/D/R issue before.

That's why I'll wait for the trade paperback, but only if it has an important effect on the IDWverse I need to know about.

AHM will be good, I'm sure. I'm just sad at how it seems to have squeezed Revelation out.
