Sorry, i didn't see Shanti's post the first time i replied and then obvioulsy the board died for a bit...

Shanti i think we are mixing up some stuff here - there's a big difference between talking in general terms about how someone posts and bringing in their views on an entirely seperate topic and also elaborating some stuff about their personal life.

Lets keep the perspective that we are talking about fictional robots here - if someone is being a dick in a fictional robot topic i don't think its called for to try and pull in stuff from GD topics about relationships and stuff and i think an apology is warrented, regardless as to whether Yaya was taking his oft adopted vexing approach to debating.

And for clarity while i find Yaya condescending sometimes (and undeservedly so given his points are often easily refuted) i don't think he actively tries to be - he's just got an inflated sense of his own opinion and is a bit feckless when it comes to defending/expressing it. Yes its annoying and i call him out on it all the time - but i'm not going to start tying it into some kind of attack on his outlook on life the universe and everything.

"we are not your wives" made me laugh tho. Yaya, just to be clear - i am not your wife.

Templesmith's mostly exclusive, but broadly speaking the 'retained staff' are actual editors AFAIK. Furman's likely to be writing non-comics stuff whilst doing TFs.
