Is anybody here an expert on the range of female transformers and what lines and series they appear in? The female bots interest me and I'd like to know more.

I'm not an expert, but I'll give it a shot:
G1: Elita-1/Ariel, Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Arcee, Paradron medic, Minerva(not sure if she counts)
Beast Wars: Blackarachnia, Airazor, Antagony, One of the Seacons from Beast Wars II
Beast Machines: Blackarachnia, Botanica
Armada: One of the minicons that make Perceptor was Arcee in Japan
Energon: Arcee
Universe: Blackarachnia, Dollar Store E. Arcee repack
Cybertron: Thunderblast (I don't count Override)
Titanium: Cancelled Arcee
Movie: Arceex2, Elita-1
Animated: Blackarachnia, Arcee
Botcon: Arcee, Antagony, Numerous E. Arcee repaints from Botcon 2005
Collectors Club: Airazor
And according to Don Murphy Arcee was a scooter in G3. Har.
Welcome to the forum.

yes, show yourselves...transformer_kollecta wrote:Is anybody here an expert on the range of female transformers
Oh FFS. If you ignore these threads, they go away. Now I have to do the whole pedantry thing.
Strika from Beast Machines.
Nightracer from BotCon 95.
eHobby Road Rage.
Oh, bugger it.
http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Cate ... ansformers
And never mention them again. Those are TFs characterised as feminine, incidentally. Completely different to them being female.
Mega if you're going to count Minerva.Hot Shot wrote: G1: Elita-1/Ariel, Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Arcee, Paradron medic, Minerva(not sure if she counts)
Scylla from BWII. Airazor was male in Japan (fuel for slashfic yay).Beast Wars: Blackarachnia, Airazor, Antagony, One of the Seacons from Beast Wars II

Uh... welcome to the boards Halfshell.. I think.
Did you just come out of lurkerdom, or have you posted before..? I don't recognise you.
Incidentally, what do you all recon the upcoming Arcee one-shot is going to do in ways of explaining fembots? Something similar to Prime's Rib but more sinister? I understand it from the solicits that she's the uh, victim of strange and wild experiments!

Furman will surprise us all by writing a story in which a group of writers in the 1980s and early 1990s working on a popular children's franchise created a group of female characters to add the illusion of depth to the franchise's two-dimensional society without first considering the long term viability of this contrivance given that the viewers may question the shallow nature of such characterisation and its awkward feel.
It will be ******* EPIC. Trust me.

Is it better to be rent asunder than to live with the knowledge that it never ends?
As for question 1... well... I'm just going to leave you to stew.
If you go to somebody's profile, you can search for all posts by them. That'll answer question 2.Predabot wrote:Uh... welcome to the boards Halfshell.. I think.

I'm guessing as part of his expansive experiments, Jhiaxus attempted to mimic the biology of other species. Including an attempt to engineer engendered robots. Resulting in an absolute psychopath.Incidentally, what do you all recon the upcoming Arcee one-shot is going to do in ways of explaining fembots? Something similar to Prime's Rib but more sinister? Better to fight and die, rather than live with the knowledge that I ran!spiderfrommars wrote:It's over - FINISHED!Halfshell wrote:Never did want to live forever.spiderfrommars wrote: No idea but I know we must try, or die in the attempt.
Or I'll give you all the worst case of indigestion you've ever had!

They say someone with big feet and a big nose...so I'd say Grimmy's packing in dino mode but falls a little short in bot mode. Grimlock has the big sword to make him feel better about being insignifigant compared to Wheelie.Halfshell wrote:Nah. Otherwise why the big sword?spiderfrommars wrote:I bet Grimlock has a big cock.
