Blackthorne comics

The art in the third ish of Transformers 3-D is pretty impressive, and rather Figueroa-esque. For credits there's just a long list of last names, which I think makes this guy "Fuget." Any idea who this guy was?

3-issue comic series published by Blackthorne back in the 80s. I've never seen them, I think they were US-only.

[edit] http://www.seibertron.com/comics/list.php?f_series=15

from the cast, it looks like they came out in '86 or '87
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I didn't realize how rare these were. The first two are total crap but the last one is decent.

[edit] Might look familiar to Spotlight: Sixshot fans.

Oh I thought you meant new 3D comics. :)

Any word on a real influence on Sixshot there from Furman/Ruffalo?

Stick a muzzle in the face of one, a furnace in the chest of another, and they start looking like the mutants from that Marvel UK sewer romp with Tailgate.

Then again, with the 'organic metal beasts' part, there's also a reference to Dweller in the Depths?

I still have my copy of issue #2 from when I was a kid. Always wondered how many of these they made.

2 is rather crap.

1 and 3 are actually readable. Like decent eps of the cartoon.

NIce! I have issue 1 and 2...always wondered if there were more.

I remember I bought them on a huge comic convention in the early 90's here in Holland. 50 cents a piece hahaha they're crappy though :o...
