So how many Arks have we seen in the IDW storyline thus far and who is on which one?

Ok...

Ark-1 was referenced in Nightbeat and Optimus Prime. Obviously we saw it in flashback in Galvatron. We know Galvy, Nova Prime and presumably Jhiaxus were aboard. Possibly the Sports Car Patrol, too.

Ark-19 is stationed on Earth, with Prowl, Ratchet, Ironhide, Sunstreaker, Bumblebee and Jazz aboard. Wheeljack too? I can't recall without trawling every issue.

Ark-32 was the ship Nightbeat was asked to rendezvous with at the close of his Spotlight. We then see him aboard it in Escalation #3, along with Hardhead and Hot Rod. It's also the ship Oppy P uses to go visit Omega.

Ark-27 was Optimus Prime's ship during Stormbringer, and also had Pointblank, Crosshairs and Overrun aboard.

Ark-17 is Perceptor's ship in the Kup Spotlight. Also crewed by Siren. Springer was aboard at the time, too. Along with a red and black guy... Sparkabot?

... think that's 'em all so far...

Nice one. :)

This can now be the official Let's-Keep-Track-Of-All-Those-Bleedin'-Arks thread.

Must be rain on the way.

Thanatos, was the Decepticon ship stationed above Cybertron in Stormbringer.

The Calabi-Yau was Jetfire's ship prior to it getting shot down.

... I've got a load of planets, too. We can devote this thread to places as well?

Not that I've spent the week collating info for a comprehensive timeline or anything...

Should be ready to post in the next week or so... too many events floating about at no fixed time right now. Trying to find a way of structuring it. Not a huge problem - easily sorted.

Places
The Benzuli Expanse - the area of space with the portal to the Dead Universe. Which is seemingly expanding.

Helo-Q - a planet near or in the Benzuli Expanse. Soon to be consumed by the expansion. A recon team were smited by The Big G in his Spotlight.

Zull - the planet where Ultra Magnus apprehends Swindle at the beginning of his Spotlight. The information obtained from which leads us to...

Nebulos - previously a base of operations for Scorponok, and also site of an infiltration team headed up by Darkwing, Dreadwind and Thrust. Presumably now dead, after being trashed by Thunderwing.

Ki-Aleta - the planet where Hot Rod led a team to retrieve The Magnificence, but was forced to hide it after said team were "ambushed" by one of their own.

Gorlam Prime - the planet was site to the alleged discovery of part of Ark-1's flight recorder, leading to Nightbeat's encounter with the Sports Car Patrol.

Styxx - a Decepticon penal colony. Precise location currently unknown. Where Dealer was held prior to Hot Rod going all Michael Scofield.

Ys'Devian - a planet destroyed by Sixshot a year prior to the events of his Spotlight. Presumably infiltrated and plundered by the Decepticons, with his appearance being part of the scorched-earth Phase Six.

Varas Centralis - a planet in the Kol System. The Decepticons acheived at least Phase Five, possibly Phase Six. The Wreckers were amongst several groups of Autobots laying siege to the 'cons there when Prime recalled them to Cybertron during Stormbringer.

Mumu-Obscura - functional homeworld to the Reapers. Site of Sixshot's spotlight.

Muta-Gaath Nebula - current domicile of Omega Supreme.

Don't think the planet that Spotlight Kup took place on was named.

Oh, then there's Cybertron and Earth. Blatantly.
Grrr. Argh.

Some very cool planet names there.

Amazing how many planets have been in the Spotlights. We've not been this galactic since G2.

Necessary byproduct of Cybertron already having bit the big one. :)

Gotta put 'em all somewhere!

Removing Cybertron was a good move. Influenced by RTD's destruction of Gallifrey perhaps?
