Re: Who was?
Your favorite illustrated character?
BW: The Gathering #3 Cover D Transmetal Cheetor.
your favorite toy?
20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.
your favorite for their personality?
Rattrap.
the hardest?
The hardest what?
the most wasted (potential)?
Again, the most wasted what?
the TF you hated the most?
Japanese Reissue Sixbuilder.
My reasoning:
1. Instead of the figures combining with each other, they combine with the armor, creating the absence of what makes gestalts "cool".
2. The individual figures are terrible. The arm figures are the best out of the set, and they're still "meh". It doesn't matter if they're G1 or not, and small or not, theres still a gaping hole for improvement. It's hard to believe Landcross came out before this thing.
3. The overall cheapness of the figure. After a few days of owning it I noticed the right arm figure's(I can't remember their names) rubber shovel was somehow tearing under minimal handling.
I traded him to my dad for titanium Thundercracker, a figure he rarely touches, and even he feels screwed(this being someone who loves a defective Topspin), so I guess it's not just me who thinks its a bad figure.

Your favorite illustrated character?
WW Starscream made me go wow when I first saw him.
your favorite toy?
(That I own, which isn't many) Binaltech Grimlock
your favorite for their personality?
Grimlock
the hardest?
probably have to go with Galvatron. Unless you count Worlds Collide,
then I guess its Armada Megatron.
the most wasted (potential)?
Sunstreaker
the TF you hated the most?
I remember being very disapointed with Ultramganus' toy as a child,
he was just a big brick. But I liked his character, so guess not him then.
Rodimus Prime, poor toy and poor leader. Inferior to Hotrod in every way.

Re: Who was?
Ooh good one
Your favorite illustrated character?
Probably Galvatron (Senior) with close runners up for Prime, Death's Head, Prowl and Ratchet.
your favorite toy?
As a kid probably either Prime or Hotrod.
your favorite for their personality?
Prime.
the hardest?
In terms of being sheerly tough it would have to be Prime or Magnus. Galvatron is ridiculously tough but he is also ridiculously powerful so it's a bit unfair to list him with normal TFs (imo).
the most wasted (potential)?
Oh god, loads of them. There were so many TFs who barely got to even introduce themselves.
the TF you hated the most?
Probably any of the Pretenders, they were absolutely rubbish toys imo.

Your favorite illustrated character?
If by this you mean who looked the coolest, I would say Ratchet, Megatron, and Shockwave as pencilled by William Johnson
your favorite toy?
Shockwave and Jetfire
your favorite for their personality?
Shockwave
the hardest?
Huh?
the most wasted (potential)?
Wha?
the TF you hated the most?
It was Pretender Skullgrin.....until Betabear showed up

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Your favorite illustrated character?
Galvatron by Geoff Senior.
your favorite toy?
Dreadwind. Just loved him.
your favorite for their personality?
Shockwave, Soundwave.
the hardest?
Erector.
the most wasted (potential)?
Magnus had more to give.
the TF you hated the most?
I loved 'em all.

Your favorite illustrated character?
Andy Wildman's version of Bludgeon's Pretender shell in the last half-dozen issues of the G1 Marvel comic. He just looked so...soulless, for lack of a better word.
your favorite toy?
As a kid it was probably G1 Hot Rod or PM Prime, but nowadays Classics Jetfire, Grimlock and Ramjet would be at the top of the list.
your favorite for their personality?
Soundwave has always intrigued me to no end.
the hardest?
Galvatron was a powerhouse, but I think G2 Megatron deserves this one for his sheer bullheaded stubborn refusal to die. Surviving atmospheric reentry without a spaceship twice in a six issue span...that takes a special brand of awesomeness.
the most wasted (potential)?
There's so many that it's a bit difficult to chose just one, but characters like Quick Switch, Doublecross and Punch have always intrigued me because of their multiple personalities. How would the Autobots deal with a comrade who was so obviously mentally ill?
Well, OK, if Red Alert is any indication the answer is "put them in charge of a security division", but still...
the TF you hated the most?
Longtooth. Surely I don't need to explain this?

Your favorite illustrated character?
Ratchet
I liked him more in the cartoon because of his random moments of bitchiness
your favorite toy?
Was always nuts about the original seekers- Skywarp, Thundercracker and Starscream.
Also loved the Dinobot toys as well as Jazz. Well and Prime, 'cept I couldn't transform him as a kid.
your favorite for their personality?
Jazz
I wish I could be more like Jazz
the hardest?
Prime
Unlike Megatron he had to put up with everything with generally little complaint
the most wasted (potential)?
Hound, Mirage, Skywarp, Thundercracker
the TF you hated the most?
Wheelie, Rodimus Prime, Protectobots
Rodimus, let's be responsible for Prime's death, then replace him!
No more Ratchet kids, here's some new, combining robots that can take his place! Buy our toys instead.

Your favorite illustrated character?
Hmmm Blaster, Prowl, Straxas or Ratchet
your favorite toy?
The Tracks G1 toy was pretty cool
your favorite for their personality?
It would have to be Ratchet or even Skids, I like the way Ratchet was brave, despite being a medic he gave his life valiantly.
the hardest?
Autobot - Grimlock Decepticon Galvatron
the most wasted (potential)?
Windcharger and Sunstreaker and Tracks
the TF you hated the most?
Wheelie

Your favorite illustrated character?
Starscream
your favorite toy?
Armada Starscream
your favorite for their personality?
Starscream
the hardest?
First it was Cybertron Starscream after he betrayed Megatron and before he became huge..now it's Cybertron Galvatron
the most wasted (potential)?
Wow, I really don't know. Racked my brain on this one. First thought was Cybertron Thundercracker...but that's not right. Oh well.

Re: Who was?
Perhaps controversial...
Your favorite illustrated character?
Megatron - drawn by Mr Senior of course.
your favorite toy?
Megatron - he's a frickin' gun!
your favorite for their personality?
Megatron - he started the whole bloody war! he's a little bit bonkers but he's ruthless and cunning and doesn't take any ****.
the hardest?
Megatron - generally kicked anyone else's arse - except when plot dictated it necessary otherwise.
the most wasted (potential)?
Megatron - Budainsky, although i do love some of his earlier stories, seemed to totally ruin Megs... and when Furman introduced Galvatron, Megs seemed to take the back seat (or snooze at the bottom of the Thames) presumably because having two rock hard characters running around would've been a bit much...
the TF you hated the most?
either Galvatron (because he stole the limelight from Megs) or Optimus Prime (because he was a hippy (although not as much of a hippy as Ultra Magnus, but that's a different rant)).
