first off, the plot, whats the whol deal with all spark BS, they could still have used the creation matrix and stuff, it would have made bugger all diference to the plot, it would have looked better on film, and would have kept the fans happy.

Blame Keanu Reeves. Teh Murphy Don has outright stated that's why they chose another of the names for the Matrix.

Still... I would have liked the Primordial program. Oh well..

So... anybody have any ideas for what we should be in for with the next one? Some gestalts? Dinobots? A tripple-changer or two? Gotta rake it up a bit, but not too much, as we need the bloody crescendo of city-bots and six-changers and Pretender-shells and Primus knows what, for the third movie.

Here's an idea. Introduce Arcee as Mikaela's protector. You'll have Ironhide talking about how she was one of the best shots in Autobot Academy, and while Sam tries to figure out how Autobot bigga-bam is supposed to work, in rolls a riderless purple ninja bike that turns into an eight-foot cross-bow dominatrix with pneumatic boobies. And just to add some tension, she flirts with Sam in front of Mikaela (cue pneumatic boobies and back-reference to pheromone levels).

Well, Annie saw the toy and thought it'd be cute. In any case, Megan Fox on a bike bailing out Sam for a change would look pretty ace. And just to reference Headmasters, Arcee would provide Mikaela with a helmet that transforms into Arcee's head. Or part of it, or something.

I went and saw it in imax last weekend, and it was alright. It didn't have the "holy **** imax" feel of some things I've seen in imax before [albeit, those were all "made for imax" features, not theatrical movies converted to imax, and I saw them in a better venue... Liberty Science Center in NJ as opposed to seeing TFs at the Palisades Mall Imax in NY]. The extra scenes were... eh. Nothing that I wanted-- nothing with the TFs, really. But, the sound was so sick. All the shaky cams and confusing scenes were magnified on a 6 story tall screen... it was so hard to keep track sometimes. Fun, though.

its here now - isaw it in London the other week - if you didn't like it the first time round i would not expect the 'imax experience' to change your mind.

I think they'll have to introduce Grimlock and Co, just hope they get it right. Maybe end with a Dinobots Vs Devastator battle, with other Gesalt teams appearing in movie 3.

I can't see them using Citybot or a Pretender.

I'm sure I remember hearing Spielberg say he was gonna include Unicron in the trilogy he planned, perhaps Movie 2 will end with a peak at him.

I dunno, I didn't enjoy the 1st movie, I felt they got a lot wrong and I'm not holding my breath a second time around.
