TF/GI Joe 4 Divided front

Reading it right now... so far, seems pretty good! Especially Wildman's art, but the story is OK as well. We already saw Bludgeon killing a Joe (whom I don't know), and Hawk beamed up by Cosmos (just like an abduction scene).

In fact, I'm also warming up to the khobra-la folk, their alien organic technology is cool.

Wildman is as good as always, while his robots are a bit more robotic, Bludgeon look exactly like back in 'End of the Road', except a bit more detailed (face looks the same, even the glowing eyes). Oh and they call him 'a giant zombie samurai'. Isn't Bludgeon a skeleton? Zombies have flesh on them, 'far as I know... :D

Will keep you updated as I read!

EDIT: Hmm, Bludgeon is really in character, when he disarms OP and then throws away his sword as he wants to fight with honor. We also learn that he was sent to assassinate Prime when he became Prime - and failed. The Bots are in character too, though Prowl has some weird lines. Eject is... irritating, but in character. I must also confess I almost fell off my chair laughing when I saw the Khobra-La elite attacking and screaming "Lalalalala!" No wonder they scrapped the whole thing after the Joe movie...

Oh and the Monster Pretenders look... interesting. Not really like the toys looked, but a bit misformed still. I like the idea that the organic-technology based Khobra La supplied the Cons with shells, logical.

I really liked this one. I am constantly impressed with DD's G.I.Joe/Transformers output. I totally feel like a kid watching the Joe/TF cartoons in the 80's when I read these comics. In fact, I think that DD has the cartoon down more than DreamWave ever did. I only wish that we could have had a full four issue mini rather than two oversized issues.

Wow. Just.....wow.

What garbage! What utter garbage!

I will not be buying the second issue.

I deserved this, really. I keep buying these crossovers with false hope, and out of all the ones done from Marvel's to this current crappy installment, I have been disappointed.

I think I'll check myself into a self injury clinic now. I must like pain.

I think it's a funny 'what if' or 'elseworlds' story, shouldn't take it seriously and you'll enjoy it. And the art is great, finally Andy got decent colorists.

I'll propably buy it if I see it in Hungary, 2 issues I can afford.

About B Man looking like he did in End of the Road... too right, he looks exactly like he did back in those issues...

Squat poses, the lot...

It's out. Probably better than the first, though thats not saying much.

I think Andy phoned in the art, sadly.

How can you.. "Phone in" art?? I thought that when you phone in a comic-script you read up the general storyline and some key-lines quickly over a scratchy old telephone-line, and some other guy makes his script of that, and then they send to rubbish to the artist...

Would the art-equivalent be that he made some quicky outlines and then send some quick scans in to be completed by Alex Milne or something??
