The story you never got to read

I know, I know, IDW rocks our socks. So much that most of us don't miss the Marvel continuity as badly as we used to. Still, there has to be one Marvel story you saw coming and never got to read. Was it the grandiose Action Masters tale that culminated in US#100? The G2 arc where Prime and Megatron held together a weak alliance against the Liege Maximo? Or just an explanation for Earthforce? Roll back your inner ten-year-old and ignore the fact that we've already had many threads like this.

Me personally, I always wanted to see what happened in the Marvel version of 2005. In the Marvel continuity, would Hot Rod ever get the Matrix? And would he still be that ugly magenta color Nel Yomtov was so fond of?

I think a final Magnus/Galvatron showdown will be the most popular answer here.

Earthforce is a funny one. As things got more and more convoluted I was looking forward to some kind of pay off. When the Dinobots came back there was even a caption that read "see an upcoming US story for details"! It ended on a good cliffhanger tho.

I think they missed out on this one - Im not sure how they could have worked it out but instead of Maxy in the 'Last Autbot' a showdown with Magnus and Galvy could have wrapped it up nicely.
