If anyone wants to vote for Pat Lee, they can find him in the freezer in my basement.

So, assuming IDW ever settles down and does a monthly, who would it be? I voted Wildman. I really think he could outdo everyone else if he had the space and the chance. He's got the dynamism of Figgy and the storytelling power of Su. He just needs a chance to draw good stuff.

i really like what Su has done so far and i'd like to see him get a few years under his belt to be honest.

That said i'd also be more than happy with Guido, Don, Nick or Wildo.

NG to be honest, i am not mad on from a story telling and proortions perspective.

Raiz i like, but less than the others.

I voted EJ. I like what he does and its nice to have some consistency. Give him a couple of years on the title, then replace him with Wildman. ;)

Bloody hard choice though. I'd still want to see plenty of Raiz, Guidi and Roche. I prefer Figueroa on all the 'specialist' titles, so to speak. He's been brilliant on every one of them.

Guido. I loved his run on DW's Energon comic.

Btw... I think it's safe to say that after Escalation, it'll continue monthly, they'll just call the next 6 issues Annihilation.

Then, they'll have 6 called Evolution, and possibly 6 after that called Transformation? ;)

At least Stormbringer wasn't renamed 'Stormation'. :D

No. Devastation. :)

And as for the artist, either of them would be fine for me, excpet Ng, whom I don't like, and Roche, whom work I haven't seen yet. Personal fave would be Wildman.

Roche. Lots of energy and personality in his linework.

I want to see Su consistently coloured by someone who doesn't use flat palettes or default to ****ing gray, and hopefully that'll be more the case with Escalation -- the preview was pretty good in that respect.

It was a close one with Don and Nick, but I voted Roche this time as well. I was very impressed by what he managed to do on the Shockwave Spotlight.

I love Don, but one thing he could pick up from Nick is how to make more clear the action sequences. Essentially, bulk down on the character sizes.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Whaaa??? No Geoff Senior?

I'll stick to Don, although everyone's right, Nick was highly impressive in Spotlight.

Uh, isn't EJ Su ALREADY drawing an ongoing? How many ongoings do you pepole want him to draw?

i thinjk the q assumes one ongoing only.

i like Roche but he has a long way to go to come close to Su's stuff, flat palettes or no.

he wouldn't do it even if asked- He's effectively retired from comics bar the odd trade cover and it was clear at the Auto Assembly he attended that he's perfectly happy in advertising nad has no desire to come back.

So, instead of the question being, "Who would you most like to see draw an ongoing?", it should be "Who would you most like to see or continue to see draw an ongoing drawing from a solely realistic and probable pool of artists?"

No option for Pat Lee?

He's the greatest artist that has ever lived, just look at his masterful work in DW G1 volume 1 :p

Su is great, looking forward to his next stuff...but I voted Roche. I'd be excited to pick up more of his work. That one-off he did really hit the spot.
I like the idea of the visual identity he'd bring to the franchise.

Has he ever wanted to come back? Methinks if he did, it might turn out kind of like Bob's "big" moment.
